Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-02
This Privacy Policy describes how 99Attorneys ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our directory website. This policy is intended to be a clear, plain-language summary; if any specific provision is unclear, contact us.
What we collect
We collect three categories of information: information you provide (when contacting a listed lawyer or signing up as a lawyer), information collected automatically (basic analytics, IP address, browser type), and information from publicly available sources (when verifying lawyer bar admissions).
How we use it
We use information to operate the directory, route inquiries from prospective clients to listed lawyers, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve our service. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of first-party cookies to remember your preferences and a privacy-focused analytics tool to understand aggregate usage. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.
Sharing
When you submit an inquiry to a listed lawyer, the contents of that inquiry are sent to the lawyer. We may share information with service providers (hosting, analytics, payment processing) who are bound by confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information. To exercise these rights, email privacy@99attorneys.com.
Data retention
We retain inquiry data for 24 months. Lawyer accounts are retained until deleted by the account holder. Analytics data is aggregated and retained for 26 months.
Contact
Email privacy@99attorneys.com for any privacy-related question.
