How featured placement works
Featured (City and Nation scopes) competes for a small number of featured slots at the top of each listing page (typically 6 per page). The order is reshuffled once per day, deterministically — so the page is stable within a day (good for caching and SEO) but every paying lawyer gets fair top-of-page time across the week. City scope places you on your city + practice-area pages; Nation scope places you on every city page in your country.
Platinum guarantees a spot in the top 3 on your city + practice-area pages, with daily rotation among the up-to-3 Platinum holders. Each spends about a third of the days in slot 1. Hard cap: 3 Platinums per city per practice area.
Diamond applies the same logic at the national level, scoped to a single practice area. Each (country, practice area) combination has its own independent 3-slot pool: the 3 Diamonds in “Personal Injury, United States” have nothing to do with the 3 Diamonds in “Family Law, United States” — they don't compete and don't share slots. Within a niche, the 3 holders rotate daily through the top 3.
