I had the unfortunate need for a divorce attorney way back in 2001. I was directed to Mr. Miller by an acquaintance. When the divorce was final I did not get everything I wanted - but that's not the point. Mr. Miller was honest and upfront about the situation, and he handled my case extremely well. D ivorce sucks, so nobody is ever truly happy. But, I felt that I was well-represented - enough so that I hired him again for a child custody dispute a few years later. Finally, I had the misfortune of needing him for another divorce. Again, I was splendidly represented and he "out-lawyered" the ultra expensive opposing attorney so well that everything wound up in my favor. He knows the judges and what they want to hear. Frankly, I hope to hell that I'm not stupid enough to ever need him again, but I would not hesititate to hire him again.

At first Michael Miller seemed to be caring, a good listener, and very reassuring about what needed to be done for what should have been a simple divorce. Unfortunately that didn't last long and after that it was very hard to find out what was going on with my divorce. I would ask questions and recei ve very short texts with legalized terms that I didn't understand...so of course following up with more questions cost more money. The final straw was when I found out from my ex husband that the divorce was finalized 5 days prior. When I contacted the office about this the response was almost like "oops." So if you're looking for someone who doesn't communicate and not proactive about keeping you informed about your divorce, Michael Miller is your guy.

In my honest opinion there couldn’t be a better attorney for high risk custody cases. I needed an aggressive and articulate litigator and Mr. Miller provided me with the legal protection I needed in order to feel fully protected. I have advocated for pro se representation for a long time, but I will certainly use attorney in the future for any of my family law needs.

I was referred to Michael Miller by a well know civil attorney in Phoenix in 2017 for a pretty scary situation that happened with my ex/child’s father. I was extremely nervous and shocked that this was happening to us, but Mr. Miller made me feel calm right away. He is honest, trustworthy, and seeks the best solution for his clients. Mr. Miller constantly reminded me of what would be in the best interest of my children. He helped me see the bigger picture and explained each step of the legal process in a way that I could understand. Mr. Miller answered every single question I had at any time of the day, he was very responsive, and I felt like I was his only client. (which I know I wasn’t) We were able to settle out of court and come to an agreement with my child’s father and his attorney for our daughter’s best interest. I 100% believe he was worth every penny, without Mr. Miller I would not be in the position I am in today. My children and I are eternally grateful for his service and I hereby recommend Ms. Miller without reservation.

First off, read the review from "Sherry" from December 2020. I should have. This is exactly what this guy has done (not done) for me. I moved in January, and his secratary told me I didn't have to inform the court because I had representation. Just got his motion to withdraw 30 minutes ago, and had m y old address and filed it with the court. HE COULDN'T EVEN GET AN ADDRESS CHANGE DONE RIGHT!! Forgetting to file important paperwork from December of 2021, and just telling me about it a week ago. No wonder I didn't have any updates. This guy could care less about you or your case. He's horrible and shouldn't have the ability to represent anyone in the state of Arizona. I will be filing a complaint with the Arizona State Bar Association tomorrow. Save your money!! Save your peace of mind for anyone but this guy. HORRIBLE! Absolutely don't take his response to this as fact. He's a horrible attorney and will NOT represent you.

Having been on the receiving end of an ugly divorce I am forever grateful for Amber Guymon and for the professional "I won't stoop to your level" way she handled my case. Divorcing a narcissist is not an easy task. Ms. Guymon refused to allow myself or herself to engage in the meaningless banter and threats my ex chose to throw at us and at the courts. His constant complaining and refusal to accept that he must follow the law like everyone else was both exhausting and time consuming. Through it all Ms. Guymon remained positive, focused and went above and beyond my expectations to bring a solid resolution to our divorce, much to the dismay of my previous husband. I found her services to be much more valuable than the rate she charges, never once feeling like my best interest wasn't her top priority. Ms Guymon was recommended by common friend as a good family lawyer. She was my divorce attorney. However, upon hiring her I noticed her tendency of making threats saying quote “if you do not do this the judge will order you to pay your wife trial legal fees”. I am a post university graduate and I sta rt studying the family law. I discovered that it was a lie and her threat qualified her as lying. Majority of my emails, text messages and voice mails were not returned and she responded on only she was interested or wanted, avoiding to answer my questions. The invoices and statements were more frequent than her answers to my questions. Due to the divorce I was in I had to surrender a settlement lawsuit check that was supposed to be split 50/50 with my ex. At one point, without my permission, Ms Guymon started to pay herself legal fees from that check that was deposited in her trust fund. My email sent to her got no response and when I confronted her first time she said that was a misunderstanding…After being caught by the opposed attorney trying to take the money, she called that attorney “stupid” via text message. Ms Guymon failed to file documents with the court, causing me to pay thousands of dollars in family support, stress and anxiety. To make things worse two weeks prior to my divorce trial, she quit my case justifying a break in relationship, communication and because I was $500 late in legal fees I owed her. She also tried to take control of the proceeds from selling my house. Once I refused, she filed to withdraw from the case. She is a rookie attorney that is driven by making money and finding the easiest way for her and not for clients. The lowest rating I could give her it was 1 star. “0” It was more appropriate… I will not recommend her and I would look for an experienced and ethical lawyer who charges more, but it will serve and protect your interests.

I cannot say enough about Monica. I was going through a divorce and was representing myself. I believed I had a good handle on the law...but just wanted to be sure. I found Monica thru Hyatt Legal Plans - and struck a goldmine when I randomly selected her as she was on my way to work. Three times I met with her for consultation (plus some emails here and there.) She executed a document review on all the paperwork I filed. She confirmed or corrected my understanding on divorce law.
