I hired Jason in 2017 to prevent my ex-husband from relocating to another state with my daughter. We have joint custody, but he was going to move her without my consent. The case just ended in May of 2018. Because of Jason's excellent representation, not only is my daughter still in Arizona most of the time, but I get to see her according to the Stipulated Order. For years, I did not spend time my daughter as much as I was supposed to see her according to the Parenting Plan. Over the years, I have hired two attorneys and gotten part of the way through a divorce. They were not very good at representing me, the situation became extremely difficult, and I did not finish the divorce. Then I hired another attorney and completed the divorce, but he did not do a good job. Jason's words to me as he looked at my divorce decree were, "You didn't have an attorney. Did you?". Needless to say, without good representation, my ex-husband did not see the need to follow the Parenting Plan. It has been extraordinarily painful not to see my daughter as much as I was supposed to see her. There appears to be many attorneys who do not have the skills or the motivation to represent their clients well. Jason has what it takes to do a great job for you. He returns calls and emails in a timely manner, communicates well to plan a good strategy, is very assertive and tough when necessary, and explains possible results as well as the cost. He brings his "A" game and I cannot say enough good about him!

Mr. Everts represented me in a very difficult divorce about 10 years ago. It involved AZ law, International law, and another State's law for a prenup. He was able to maneuver through all of it succinctly and accurately. Highly qualified and I was in very good hands in my representation. I do not b elieve my divorce would have handled as well if I hired another lawyer, as he truly researched and figured out all the aspects of this complicated case.

Read Google review, but they are horrible and dishonest. ER 3.3 Rule 42 Ethics-they have none. Charged me for time that was not helpful to my case, then back charged for time that was supposed to be paid in full. Did absolutely nothing for my case but lost time and harmed my child further because of it. I would not hire this firm if they were free, they do not respond to emails for days or not at all. Charged for reading documents 7 years old, and I stated were not relivent to current issues. Then 1 week after signing the agreement and paying the retainer Mr.Everts withdrawals because he doesn't have time for my case. Said he had issues arise, mind you that he knew before I signed. Then back charges me including charged me for the emails that took days to respond to, but his assistant respond not him. Then with his letter to withdrawal sends me a bill for another $3600 on top of what I already paid for our meeting and prior communication. He specifically stated in our meeting what the total amount due was to that point, then back charged me $1800 on top of what I paid. Including changed me for 2hrs for our meeting when it was only 1 hour and still has not responded to that error. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. Mr.Everts replied to them with inaccurate statements that I gave proof of. I'm reopening my dispute and I'll take this firm to court if I have to, but I'm not letting another firm think they can get away with this just because to them I'm a single mom that means nothing.

Extremely thorough and offered complimentary consult when most seasoned attorneys with his tenure would charge a minimum of $150 - $200 /hr. I was impressed he requested additional material to review/ consider to provide a more thoughtful analysis of my case. No denying Steven is an expert and sin cerely appreciated his time.

I hired Mr everts to be my attorney for a divorce modification child support, & custody. long story short he didn't catch something and something they told me all along they would do could no longer be done because I had not done my paperwork incorrectly. He was hired as my attorney and even had me c orrect the child support worrsheet but blamed me for his error in not catching it. I did file a complaint with the AZ STATE Bar and because this was a mistake I was advised to look for a legalmalpractice lawyer because he cost my son close to $35,000 in back child support that we could not get because he made a mistake not me. I will be building a webpage to post my story, in the end at my child support pre hearing with my x attorney in the room, and the end my x first words out of his mouth where him thanking my attorney. Justice was not served and this momma is on fire with what he put us though. My son is special needs and he did not advocate for me for him like he was hired to do so. DO not hire them!

I met with Mr. Steven Everts today over a very frustrating child custody case that was possibly going to require an appeal. I researched, called and interviewed with a variety of other appelate qualified attorneys and was convinced Mr. Everts was by far the best choice before I even met him. Today, I was even more impressed with his depth of knowledge and experience on this random matter that many family attorneys will never likely encounter . He has been an attorney long enough to know how to properly navigate such a difficult situation and provided a great amount of insight and strategy for my upcoming hearing. It was also very refreshing that he actually advised against his own better financial interest and instead recommended I continue with my current attorney until the appeal process. Even if you are not changing attorneys it may be worth a few hours of his time to review your case and have him offer his extensive expertise and knowledge of various experts in the area that could be of assistance. We left today feeling more hopeful than ever that things could possibly turn around and even if they didn't and I have to go through an extensive appeals process, that he is even better in person than the amazing appeal attorney profile that I read about online. I could not be more impressed with this attorneys kindness, professionalism, general concern, and honesty. These are traits that are not always common in the legal industry. It is vital that you work with someone that you trust when it comes to the matter of your child's safety and well being. I wish I would have started here on day one.

Mr. Dickerson did an excellent job representing me in my recent divorce. He clearly outclassed the attorney my ex husband had chosen and helped me negotiate a very fair settlement.
