I would highly recommend Carol to anyone dealing with DCS. After spinning my wheels for almost a year with DCS doing any and everything requested I felt like I was getting no where and terrified of losing my boys. After retaining Carol she spent a few days with me initially, really learning about my case Inside and out. She truly cared and has a passion for what she does. She told me not to worry that my boys would come home to just stick with her. She knew exactly how to handle DCS and in such short time came to an agreement to work on a plan for boys to return home. She is a firecracker and will let your voice be heard. My wife filed a petition for a green card for me. We thought that would be no problem as we were married for years and had so much to show, so much in common. Just like on TV movies right? Wrong! The USCIS denied our petitions. Accused my wife of entering into a shame marriage just to get me a green card. We've found Matthew and he worked with us gathering all the facts and evidences, and he wrote a very well elaborate response to USCIS and delivered to them on time.. Today, 30 days from the date we were to respond to them, I've got an email from USCIS. The green card is approved and on its way to my mailbox. This experience has proved to me that no matter how confident we think we are to handle a law issue, we should never underestimate the experienced a lawyer has, having gone through so many cases, and what they can do for you handling your case. My lawyer, Glenn, had a sudden scheduling conflict with another case, and he offered to moves things around so he could be there for my basic hearing, or have Steven "cover it". I only met him a few minutes before the hearing and it was obvious how he was fully informed about my case and the hearing ... any time in court can be nerve racking and so I was very relaxed going into it. And once it started it was apparent just how good he is as all the "issues" were raised and swept away by his skills and logical responses. Very bad experience even til this day. Steven took a case for me 3 years ago that I'm still trying to straighten out.. He completely over looked numerous key case issues that needed attention from the beginning and left all the work to his paralegal. In result, never took responsibility for his a ctions in any matter and blamed it all on a miscommunication.. His $6,000 in fees and withdraw from the case when things got hot put me over and out!

The adoption was rather scares for m because I tried for a week to get an attorney. I left messages to several different attorneys without getting a response . Well that all changed when I made a call to Tiffany. She returned a call to me within a few hours. After that everything moved very quickl y after just one conversation I knew I had the right team supporting our adoption. Tiffany got us a court date in 4 weeks. We expected at least 8 weeks maybe 12. This is a honest team that does not charge you one cent over what was quoted. I contacted Gillespie and Shields law firm after I moved to Arizona and needed my custody order changed from Colorado to Arizona. I had previously filed pro se and gotten a court date, so time was already ticking down when Robert got on my case. Robert was very professional and set realistic expec tations at our very first meeting. He definitely over-delivered as far as the outcome of the case, I got everything that I asked for because of his meticulous, logical and reasonable approach. While the fees are expensive, I would consider this money well spent for the fact that we now have a lasting framework in place that is tailored to my specific case, and I am saving money in the long run by having a reduced child support obligation. I had a (relatively) complex custody matter, IV-D for child support and we initially we had to deal with some jurisdictional matters, as the case originated in Colorado and was moved to Arizona. Robert demonstrated expertise in interpreting and presenting the UCCJEA rules to the judge, on examining witnesses he was very effective in highlighting the points that we were trying to make...nothing was lost in translation. I would highly recommend Robert to anyone who is looking for assistance with child support or modification of custody. I have been through four family lawyers during my custody battle and he has by far achieved the best outcome. Very satisfied, thank you!
