I was injured in a motor vehicle accident whereby I was rear-ended at a stop light. The accident was completely at no fault of my own. The lady had bare minimal insurance and yet her insurance company was fighting me. In the end, Jess was able to fight for me and prove my injuries. Sean Forrester of the Lerner and Rowe Law Group represented me in a situation I never though I would be in. Because of a really bad decision I made at a low point in my life, I was facing a possible felony charge; I honestly wasn't even thinking of the repercussions of my actions so I was beyond sur prised to be in this serious of a situation. I had no idea that what I had done could reach the level of a felony and quickly realized that this could have long-lasting and substantial impacts on my career and personal life (voting restrictions, employment and volunteer restrictions etc.). I realized that finding a lawyer I could trust would be paramount in this situation and as I started the search for a lawyer, I was quickly overwhelmed; there are many different types of lawyers that focus on different areas of law, and it was a daunting task to find a professional that I felt I could trust. I met with Sean's team initially and one other law firm (i also spoke with around 6 other law firms on the phone). Sean and his team (specifically Jesse Cervantes) were extremely knowledgeable, straight-forward, patient, and understanding. They worked hard to ensure that I understood the various related parts of the Law, the timeline and next steps of what would happen as my case evolved, and the possible various outcomes I would be facing; note that they did this BEFORE i signed a retainer and was one of the many reasons I ultimately retained Lerner & Rowe. Sean, while not excusing my behavior (which I appreciated), was kind and put everything into context, which helped to ease my extremely worried mind. Jesse Cervantes was extremely patient and understanding; he was also knowledgeable and was able to give me a lot of useful information. I was nervous and emotional and Sean never made me feel rushed; he patiently answered all of my questions and did so in a way that made the complexities of law and legal terminology very easy to digest. Sean's knowledge, patience, straight-forwardness, professionalism and honesty during that initial meeting made me select Sean over the other lawyers and law firms I had talked with and met with (some that wanted 6 times the fee charged by Lerner & Rowe); Sean made me feel that I would be best represented by him and Lerner and Rowe, and I was not disappointed. Sean was in constant communication with me over the 5 months that it took to resolve my case. I was extremely detailed with my questions and follow-up and Sean always quickly responded to questions that I had. He was diligent with reaching out to the police department and the prosecutor proactively, which made the process run smoothly. Sean consistently went above and beyond throughout this case. When we were resolving my case, Sean was extremely thoughtful in his approach and because of a request he made, I was able to avoid having a probationary period. I would never have thought to ask for that adjustment and would have been satisfied as much as I could be with the original intended resolution; because of Sean's advocacy, I got a resolution that was even better than I expected. Sean is without a doubt a true and tireless advocate and ally for his clients, irregardless of the size of the case. I was never once disappointed throughout this entire process; something that I was extremely surprised by given the expectations and general distrust we are taught to have about lawyers. About a year ago I had a very serious allegation levied against me for a crime that I had not committed but still had the potential to destroy the life that I had built with my family. This was the first time I had ever faced such allegations and as such was unsure how to protect myself at the time. 9 months later, still without legal counsel, I was arrested in my home and taken to jail for a very serious crime. Let's just say this was not my first rodeo! Sitting behinds bars she came highly recommend for the number of years working with felony cases in Superior court. I was being charged with a DUI with a BAC of .o9. The traffic violation in which the officer claimed I committed was questionable and Eileen did a phenomenal job presenting our case. She took a lot of time looking into the officer, pulling his records, GPS, and consulting other lawyers that were also disputing DUI cases from the same officer. She did a great job of providing reassurance when I needed it and was always great with her follow through. She presented all the facts in my pre-trial motion and the judge granted the motion to dismiss the traffic violation, which in turn made my DUI charge null in void. Eileen had a difficult task as she had to "prove" the officer was being dishonest and that some of his actions were cause for suspicion. My only difficulty with her service was that she was very "need to know," so there were times I wasn’t sure what was going on, however this was the first time I had ever been in this kind of trouble and my anxiety may have asked for more communication then what was needed. Overall I had a great experience with Eileen and would recommend her to anyone.

I had never had to retain a criminal lawyer, so I scheduled meetings with three firms--a large downtown law firm, one group practice and Michael Alarid. I met with Alex for a free consultation, and after meeting with several other attorneys and feeling either like another number or a dollar sign I did not get that impression from Alex. After explaining my situation and need for an actual attorney "instead of a public defender" Alex made me feel very comfortable and even made me laugh a little during our first meeting to try and help ease my stress. I definitely can't thank Alex Lane enough for his determination and hard work on my case. The basics of my case are that it took 18+ months for the prosecutor to provide all of the evidence that was pertinent to my case. In that time my case was dismissed without prejudice 3 times I believe. Each time it had been dismissed the case was reopened at or near the 6 month deadline for refiling. After the final pieces of evidence were finally produced over 18 months after the time of arrest, we argued that the evidence should be inadmissible due to the time frame loopholes that were being exploited. This argument was a very strong one and resulted in the Judge ruling the long absent evidence inadmissible. Even after this ruling, the prosecutor was determined to still pursue other means of providing evidence to the court by way of officer testimony. Our argument was that the officer could just read the evidence and testify verbatim which would nullify the previous ruling by the Judge that the evidence was inadmissible. In the end, I believe this was the nail in the coffin for the prosecutor's case. The Judge agreed with this assessment and ruled in our favor, not allowing the officer to testify to the inadmissible evidence. After another wait with no offer from the prosecutor, we reached the next court date and the best possible outcome was finally decided...case dismissed. Again I can't thank Alex Lane, Kevin Crowley and the entire office for their determination and hard work on my case. Here's hoping that I will never need to be represented again, but if for any reason I need an attorney in the future, I will definitely consult Alex Lane's office first.

I have had to engage Mr. Lane in a few situations where my son's had on separate occasions need council. Alex was very helpful from the start and took the initiative as soon as we called to insure we did all the right things and the situations were being handled properly. In devastation of false accusations there is hope. There are humans who believe in us and fight long and hard for our justice. I am a true client and this may sound like an ad but it is not. I want to impact and inspire all of you going through what we are. Are you feeling defeated? Alone? Figh ting injustice and afraid? Please know we're going through it and we are close to getting our justice fir wrongful charges. Yes it financially devastated us. Yes it could ruin our jobs and our ability to move or get other jobs now or in future. Belen Law has gone above and beyond and we are at the tail end. We have 2 parts left but the court is done. When that is complete she can not recharge and all charges will be sealed. Has this changed our lives. YES. We have lost this part of our family. The rest of family and friends knew without a doubt and have stood behind us. But with all that we were up against the justice system and that's scary. Humans are human and when a charge against a child it's guilty until proven innocent. We went through all this. Belen's whole office even the investigator truly and I mean truly knew our innocence. They always there. But know they are very busy with other cases and don't get upset or discourage if they can't immediately respond or call. The office was always kind and they are honest and helpful. Even in quieting down my mind of despair. The court date was a week away. The prosecutor dismissed case because of the "holes in the charge" . A swat on behind has turned into horrific charges by a parent and child even said charges by parent were not true. I could explain but I need keep it short and to point of helping others that are fighting for their innocence and feel all alone and fighting this whole world. We have 2 more things to complete and this will be end of this journey of trials and tribulations in our lives. In the ending stages we are very pleased with their services and kindness of this whole firm. Please don't give up. It will be a hard road but they have your back. Thank you all.

Ms belon I'm 66 years old I got out of prison in2016 I'm retired n disabled but can't get disability the state is already taking 400 from my retirement of 1084 I can't evn pay rent if it weren't for fam I dont kno wher I'd be that's just not fair if ive done time for each fine plz wat can I do
