I had met with other attorneys before I found Sonja Duckstein on AVVO. None compared to her. She not only settled my case, she saved me from going into debt. Imagine your worst nightmare: getting ran over in a crosswalk across from your work and waking up in super girl underwear and not feeling like a super girl at all. That was me. The financial stress and the worry of how this affected my family made it impossible to focus on my health. Sonja Duckstein invested more time and attention to this matter than even half of what I was able to invest into it. She even represented me with some of the doctors that were greedy and getting out of line. When one of the doctors questioned me about it I proudly responded "she makes these decisions because she is representing my best interests". This accident has changed my life and it is pretty devastating. I know that she really went above and beyond in representing me and for that, I am able to move forward with my life. Maybe I won't have the life that I dreamed of, but it will still be a good life because of Sonja Duckstein.

I don’t recommend Sonja Duckstein as a defender for any DUI case. Not only did she push to plea right away, she tried to charge me an additional $3,000 for a revocation packet that only cost me $105 to do myself. Her lousy defense has ruined my life and kept me from employment for two years. I’m home less! She didn’t even interview the officer who lied about almost every single charge and detail regarding the stop. If I knew the damage that she allowed the prosecutor and a dishonest officer of the law was going do to my reputation, I would have never given her a second chance. She also promised to get the charges set aside; more bs. She did almost nothing to win my case. She’s doesn’t fight for anything but increasing her fees and minimizing her workload. Sonja is more of a prosecutor than a defender and it shows. Sonja is a dishonest defender and doesn’t give a hoot about her clients.

Sonja is the best!! Dog bites happen all too frequently not at the owners fault! Unfortunately just because you are the owner of the animal who but someone it makes you legally responsible. I hired Josh after researching for weeks on the best lawyer for the job. To explain a little about my situation, I am not from Arizona. I live in Mississippi and flew through Arizona on New Years Even 2010 and lets just say I got into a little trouble on the plane. Long story short, I was not able to make my court date and therefor had a warrant and a FTA on my record. After years of neglecting this matter, I finally buckled down and hired Josh. I was in a nightclub altercation where I was charged with aggravated assault with bodily harm, a very serious case in the state of Arizona, at first I hired another Law Firm to represent me in the case, and the first plea that the DA offered was 5 years flat or go to trial with risk of losing and get ting 7-10 years, I was 30 years old at the time 2 kids just barely made 5 years old, needless to say I wasn't taking a plea I had to fight, so my first attorney gets the case continued for 3 months and the DA comes back with the second plea which was 2.5 years flat, at the time my lawyer suggested I should take it, and I lost all faith in them at that time, so I started researching more aggressive attorneys and Thank God I found Josh Blumenreich, I consulted with him, for at least an hour going over the severities of the case of course and he asked me what I was able to stomach at the end of the day, I said I want it to go away of corse or minimum 6 months county time, and he said DONE! After the consultation I had to inform my current attorney at the time of my decision and they told me the DA had one final plea, so I listened and its was 2 years 85% ts, and they Swore to me that this was the best deal I could get. Before I left Josh, I remember he asked me to write a small biography about myself so he could have a better understanding of who I was and where I came from, my first attorney never made any attempts or cared, I feel about me personally and that stuck with me the whole time. So I fired the first lawyer and hired Josh and him and his firm got right to work, they thoroughly investigated the case found more information that help my defense and by the time Mr Blumenreich was done chewing the DA in half I walked away with 6 months in the tents where I only did 8 hours in and 16 hours out I reported to the tents at midnight and left at 8, Unbelievable from my first plea being 5 years flat. Very Thankful to had found Josh

I was in the worst kind of trouble possible. My very best friend and I are both veterans. I served in the Marines and he was an Army Ranger.  My friend asked me to hand him his gun which we both believed was not loaded. Mr. Blumberg is an outstanding attorney. I won’t go into the specifics of my case, but I was faced with 3 Felony charges. To say the end of '25 was horrible is certainly an understatement. I ended up getting pulled over and cited for speeding and cited for failure to yield near a stationary emergency vehicle all within a month. I drive a commercial vehicle for a living and leaving marks on my driving record is a no-no.
