I would highly recommend this attorney. Bernardo has extensive experience and a huge network of attorneys. Bernardo demands respect and is a dynamite. Me. Brown took my case and pretended to be interested. Although I appreciate his honesty with how serious and bad my case was, I did not appreciate the fact that his attitude towards me was just another guilty client trying to scheme the system. I feel like I got blown off because Mr. Brown was in co nsideration for becoming a judge so his clients took a back seat to his own interests. I feel my case was (and is still) being dragged out. He didn’t ask if I had any questions or preference or anything about who and where he sent me with my dui defense. His concern is only himself and now to think that this guy is a judge. I am worried for those who step foot in his courtroom… will they receive just the minimum because his foot is half in the door? The man has no genuine interest in his clients. Each and every move he makes is simply to better himself, which to an extent I can understand, but at what cost? The cost of someone ruining their life? If you get the “Honorable Jay Brown” please be careful and watch your step with this guy.

He did a wonderful job on my case he went above and beyond went as far as hiring a private investigator for my case even though he didn’t have to when I already had a plea agreement signed and accepted and went out of his way to to bring to light the new found evidence which got my charges dismissed. Mr. Brown was not only fast and diligent, he was very understanding and helpful. He explained everything to detail so I could understand everything that was going on. He's is good at what he does, and he was very sympathetic to my story and did an AMAZING job at getting my plea deal to the best-cas e scenario. Craig and his team did an incredible job representing my husband. With an initial potential sentencing of up to 100 years in prison, Craig and his team worked tirelessly sorting through evidence and working with various specialists to achieve the most favorable outcome possible. He was always willing to answer our numerous questions throughout the entire process. He was very professional and able to help us navigate a challenging time. By the end of the case, we were able to settle on a 6 year sentence instead of the initial 100 year sentence. He did an incredible job and I would highly recommend him to anybody.

After deciding to retain private counsel and researching online I got in touch with a few attorney offices. One did not practice in the matter. The other I would describe as pushy, wanting me to act quickly, caring more about getting me under contract then my situation. In contrast Brenda (Legal Assi stant to Attorney Craig Gillespie) was professional, easy to talk to, and I felt wanted to help me. Craig had a similar demeanor, once engaged he acted quickly on my case. At each of our court appearances Craig was greeted by a different colleague and they exchanged pleasantries. I feel this indicates he is known and respected among his peers. Overall he operated with integrity and maintained a positive relationship with the Court / opposing counsel. I had never been in legal trouble before and never expected to need a criminal defense attorney. The matter I faced was not criminal in nature, but it had implications for an ongoing family court situation, so it was extremely important that everything was handled carefully and we couldn’t take any c hances.
