- ★★★★★Outstanding work with attention to detail
Ryan · family law ·
Julia was outstanding in handling my divorce, providing clear guidance on property division, custody arrangements, and the entire legal process. Her strategic approach and meticulous attention to detail helped achieve a fair and positive outcome for me. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking profes sional representation.
- ★★★★★Highly recommended!
Wes · family law ·
Julia Rogers represented me in a high-conflict custody trial, and I could not have asked for a better advocate. From the beginning, she was strategic, prepared, and completely focused on protecting my child’s best interests. High-conflict cases are emotionally exhausting, but Julia remained calm, composed, and professional throughout the entire process. She understood the complexities of the situation, anticipated challenges, and built a strong case backed by clear evidence and thoughtful legal arguments. Her courtroom presence was confident and effective, and her preparation truly showed during trial. Most importantly, she listened to me, kept me informed, and made sure I felt supported every step of the way. If you are facing a difficult custody matter, I highly recommend Julia Rogers. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and a powerful advocate when it matters most.

As you can see below, my wife Nyah wrote a review. Nyah is the one who has been paying for services on my behalf regarding Julia, so she absolutely has the right to share her experience. Julia would be aware of this had she properly handled our case. We terminated Julia’s services in January. She went on vacation, refused phone calls, and failed to provide the services that were paid for. We hired her through Marble, and the agreed-upon services were not completed. Since being terminated, Julia has continued to reach out, including attempting to reinsert herself into my court case in February despite no longer being retained. This behavior has been inappropriate and concerning. It is also worth noting that the reviews posted immediately after my wife’s appear misleading and do not reflect our experience. Based on the timing and circumstances, their credibility is questionable. We encourage others to carefully evaluate all feedback and conduct their own independent research before making a decision. At this time, we are working with the Better Business Bureau and the Arizona Attorney General’s Office regarding this matter. Based on our experience, we do not recommend hiring her.
- ★★★★★Horrible lawyer, did not do her job
Linnea · family law ·
Avoid this lawyer!!!!She takes shortcuts and does a poor job leading you to pay thousands for her services just to find out that it was done wrong and you have to completely start from scratch for her mistakes. She filed a petition for an annulment, dragging the process of serving my spouse out and 7 months later I’m about to get a default granted when the judge denied it without proper information on initial petition that my lawyer created. $4000+ I’ve wasted for this joke of a lawyer. Do not work with her
- ★★★★★Experienced and compassionate
Katie ·
Thank you Julia! Your personal approach really helped me through a difficult time, and though I know I wasn’t the only client you made me feel like you were really fighting just for me. Every step of the way things were handled even without having to ask, and you walked me through the whole process t o get it done. Would recommend!
- ★★★★★The Best Investment I've Made in My Family's Future!
Brenda · family law ·
I used FSG to establish a Parenting Plan for my 9 year old son. They turned out to be so much more valuable than I expected. Not only did they give advice to provide the best outcome I could hope for, they provided other valuable information and contacts that helped me sort out other aspects of the separation from my son's father (e.g. first class mortgage broker, a therapist for co-parenting a child with special needs and names of lawyers that to help set up a special needs trust). At a time when I felt unable to help myself, they gave me the strength and guidance to find my way. They always were professional and compassionate. The lawyer that handled my case was Kathleen Stillman. She and her team of paralegals were very knowledgeable about family law and were extremely efficient. The delays that occurred were never on their end. I would absolutely recommend FSG for any family law issues without any reservation.
- ★★★★★Family Court Representation
Curtis R. · family law ·
Kathy at Stillman Law is great. I hired her to represent me through a rough divorce and she did a great job helping me get through it - the court system can be hard to navigate on your own. She is very kind and understanding and helped guide me the best that she could. I would highly recommend her to anyone going through any family law issues.
- ★★★★★Gilbert's Best Attorney
Paula · family law ·
Kathy Stillman represented me during my divorce. Kathy was excellent in educating me throughout this process. We had a few meetings, several emails and my divorce was finalized in less than 6 months. She is one of the hardest working attorney's I know. I will be forever grateful what she had done for me. Paula Mesa, AZ
- ★★★★★Excellent Legal Counsel for Guardianship
Jeanette · estate planning ·
Ms. Stillman represented me in 2014 to obtain Guardianship of my Autistic brother. She was timely in all correspondence and she went to two court hearings with me and set up three court telephone conference calls. I am glad that Kathy represented me and I would retain her as a lawyer for any future legal matters regarding family law.
- ★★★★★Outstanding Lawyer

Kathleen Stillman utilizes helpful and valuable solutions to all areas of law. She goes beyond expectations and when faced with unexpected challenges, is very resourceful. Kathleen Stillman 's expert advice , integrity, organizational skills, and responsiveness place her above the rest. Kathleen is an outstanding lawyer and would recommend her any day!
- ★★★★★Visitation
Travis · family law ·
I hired Jack O'Connor to represent me for visitations of my daughter. Mr. O'Connor was very knowledgable and prepared for court. I had not seen my daughter over a year due to mother not allowing her to see me. I have been paying child support for four years and never missing one payment. I finally got fed up of it and hired a attorney. Mr O'Connor was able to get me every other weekend visitation and overnight stays. Mr. O'Connor also was able to prove to the judge that I was active in my daughters life previously despite what her mother attest to. Mr O'Connor proved to the court that mother was being very difficult and the judge awarded me compensated for attorney fees. I'm so happy with Jack and the outcome if he hadn't been so thorough and prepared I might not be getting my daughter as often..
- ★★★★★Divorced Mom dealing with custody issues

Jack was a fantastic attorney ! He was full of valuable information, he's thoughtful, promt with his communication and acted with a sense of urgency on every issue I was dealing with during a terribly difficult time . I would highly recommend his services !
- ★★★★★Considerate and knowledgeable
anonymous · family law ·
Jack is a considerate and knowledgeable attorney with excellent integrity and character. He has done all the right things to build my confidence in him as an attorney. I did not hire Jack, only because a good friend referred me to a friend of hers who thought she would help me out. As the process has moved forward in my divorce, everything that Jack said when I met with him was spot on. He took the time to answer all my questions and let me know about the process. He didn't sugar coat anything and was right about how he thought things were going to play out. He is priced reasonably and would have saved me a lot of money. If only I could go back in time. Thank you, Jack, for your prompt responses to my questions and for taking the time to meet with me. I would recommend Jack!
- ★★★★★Awesome!!!
Tamara · family law ·
I just spoke with Mr. O'Connor and he was so helpful and answered all my questions about a child custody case, without hesitation. I'm sure I even asked the same questions 5 times and he NEVER once sounded irritated or tried to rush me off the phone. If he was in my county I would hire him. Absolutel y one of the best attorneys I've ever spoken to. I was transferd straight to him with a very brief hold time! The receptionist was very nice as well. I would recommend him to anyone!! Thank you Jack O'Connor.
- ★★★★★Amazing attorney
anonymous · litigation ·
Jack was very thorough with my case. There were jurisdiction questions and the other side was trying to bowl me over and sweep the jurisdiction question under the rug with motion after motion after motion in Arizona, Jack responded promptly and adequately to ever motion that was filed and fought dili gently to bring jurisdiction to the forefront and make sure that it was seen and heard. Our matter was settled with a conference between judges in both jurisdictions and the right and appropriate forum was found and Arizona was found to not be the appropriate forum. Jack kept me up to date every step of the way and always did due diligence to be as forward with me as possible about Every possible angle that the opposing side may take weather it was something I wanted to hear or not, he was upfront about everything and kept on top of it all. I appreciate Jacks assistance through this very hard time and I would recommend him to anyone especially if you have a high conflict case and need assistance navigating tricky issues such as jurisdiction or other not so simple matters.

Jon is one of the best attorneys in Arizona, I've used him for contract litigation, non-compete litigation and navigating through the adoption of my precious baby girl. Highly recommend Jon and this Firm!

- ★★★★★Through Thick and Thin
Gary · family law ·
Jonathan Collins is a professional in his field. He and his colleagues have helped my family through thick and thin with his legal services. On one occasion, Mr. Collins traveled across Arizona to represent my family. His demeanor in and out of the courtroom is as winning as his record. I recommend J onathan to anyone in need of legal services for family, bankruptcy and corporate law issues.
- ★★★★★Excellent Strategic Thinker
Owen ·
Jon is one of those rare attorneys capable of taking the long view of how to accomplish the goal you wish to achieve, define the strategy and communicate it in a manner that is crystal clear. Superb listening skills coupled with a compassionate but forthright way of mapping out a step-by-step plan i s remarkably reassuring, even in the most complicated and demanding circumstances. Want a lawyer who will calmly stand up for you, or persistently fight for you, or successfully negotiate a solution where no solution seemed to exist before? Jon Collins is that guy.
- ★★★★★Brutally Honest with a Just Cause
anonymous · family law ·
In 2017, I began a divorce I had been praying for, Pro Per and broke, and petitioned for the safety of my children and I. Following my petition, came a laundry list of heartbreaking and untrue allegations from the opposing party, in addition to harassment from my ex and my ex's new partner. Thomas Morton was assigned by my judge as the Court Appointed Advisor, to investigate both sides and our allegations. I was terrified of the thought of meeting this CAA (Mr. Morton), since I retained very few records and reports to support my claims (mostly because my ex destroyed them while living together). I figured it would be my word against my ex's, and what I had been through was worse than fiction, and the person I was divorcing had not treated me like a human. Thomas Morton intimidated me during our first interview. He is sobering to speak to, and confident in his speech. He already had a long list of VERY specific questions for me, based on research he had already completed prior to ever meeting. Some of his questions I didn't know how to answer without losing my composure, and I figured that was going to look bad on me. Alas, here is my review: Thomas Morton is exceptionally thorough, and his meticulous work (on a case he was assigned to pro-bono), saved my children. Thomas Morton found records that I had not seen in years, without being asked to look for them. His report was factually stated, and even though I still disagree with some of his assessments about me, he was fair in being critical of my faults that were true. Everything he said he was going to do, he did; including randomly drug testing me, drug testing those close to me, showing up at my house unexpected at night to see my living conditions, and speaking to management at my work about me. To this day, I am thankful to the point of tears that he followed through, because only someone dedicated to digging like Me. Morton, could have seen what I saw, and realized the reason I was scared. It hurts to read a powerful man critique you, but honest men cultivate fair justice. I see Thomas Morton as brutally honest with a cause. My judge commented MULTIPLE times that Mr. Morton's report was one of the most thorough and significant reports he had ever read. If my memory serves me well, his first report alone was 43 pages. I've read it many times. Mr. Morton was not my attorney, and therefore, he said things about me (and believed an opinion about me that I still consider untrue) that I could choose to be bitter about. However, it's impossible to feel negative toward someone so dedicated to a just ruling. He brought out the facts in an unbiased way, made fair recommendations to the court, and ultimately was the voice that helped secure my children's safety. Thank you Mr. Morton. For doing incredible work, for being fair, and for providing a body of work that helped to save my children. I pray for you often, and recommend you even more. Thank you.
- ★★★★★Thomas Morton A+++
Salvatore · family law ·
Thomas Morton is an exceptional attorney, His integrity is unmatched and will always give his client the most honest case analyst. He was extremely caring about the welfare of my children which was a comfort in these darkest times. Mr. Morton went up against a very aggressive, overly confident opposi ng attorney during my case during which Tom was collected and tactically sound throughout. I can never give Tom enough praise for the positive outcome of my divorce.
- ★★★★★Successful, patient and effective
anonymous · family law ·
I originally met with Mr Morton about a complex child support collection issue. In a matter of months, he was able to successfully do what the State of Arizona was unable to do in almost 2 decades. Mr Morton has the best interest of the CHILD - hence 'child support' - in mind. He was able to locat e assets, collect assets and imagine this- locate the other parent for this process. I also used Mr Morton for a second matter and he was just as effective, professional and ethical. I would highly recommend Mr Morton.
- ★★★★★Your Champion during a trying time
Samantha · family law ·
No one gets married with the idea you are going to get divorced, I definitely didn't. Unfortunately these things do happen, when I was struggling Mr. Morton helped me navigate the divorce and custody process. He is insightful, patient and extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend him on any legal ma tter you have. Truly I'm grateful to have a Champion attorney in my corner. Thank you Sir for all you've done to help myself and my family.
- ★★★★★Unprofessional and incompetent
James · litigation ·
I met and consulted twice in person with Mr. Morton, once in the summer of 2017 and again in early 2018. I went ahead and hired him in March 2018. I was fooled into believing his military background, his demeanor in person, and his reviews. From the start of the case I noted that he was very slow to respond to messages, slow to file documents, and did not pay attention to detail. He was not throrough. It took 2+ months from signing the agreement with him until the actual court motions were submitted. Even then he submitted one motion with the wrong heading. I should have caught this mistake but I expected that he would at least call the court and verify the correct heading on the motion. In July 2018 he was in contact with the opposing attorney. The opposing attorney wanted to do a deposition 2 hours away in Flagstaff. Mr. Morton sent me an email stating that the opposing side wanted to do a deposition. I sent an email back to Mr. Morton stating that I would not do a deposition and to advise the opposing attorney. Mr. Morton proceeded to selectively cut excerpts from my confidential email and sent the selected out of context portions of my confidential email to the opposing attorney. He never informed me that he sent the email message to the opposing attorney until 2 weeks later when the opposing attorney used the email that Mr. Morton sent him in a Motion to the court. He never intended to inform me of this behind the back email message to the opposing attorney and I found out when the opposition used it in a court Motion. Four minutes before he sent the sabotage message to the opposing attorney, he sent me a message telling me to think about the deposition and that he would get back to me the next week. He sends a damaging email message using selected excerpts of my confidential comunication to him 4 minutes after telling me to think about it and he will get back to me? He never had permission to send of forward any protion of my confidential communications. This is unprofessional and incompetence. A combination of both? Then he never informed me. It appears that he sabotaged my case on purpose based on the wording of the communication he sent to the opposition. It took him 4 weeks to withdraw from my case. He is now refusing to provide me with my court file. He says that he did not keep copies of the original Motions that he filed. What kind of attorney fails to keep copies of Motions that they send to the court? Incompetent, unprofessional. In 30+ years of having hired and worked with attorneys in different areas of law, I have never met one who has shown such incompetence and unprofessionalism as Mr. Morton. I highly recommend that you avoid this lawyer. You are welcome to contact me for further information.
- ★★★★★Men This is Your Lawyer
anonymous · family law ·
I would classify my divorce as really messy. But it didn't start that way. My ex wife and I entered into a decree together by agreeing to what anyone would deem as a good deal for both of us and then within a few months she wanted more, like a lot more. She wanted my pension, more alimony, more child support (which I already was deviating UP) and that is just to name a few. Basically she wanted to have a "take me to the cleaners party' So without knowing anything about him I hired Jonathan Brooks. I was worried because I had actually gone above and beyond to take care of my ex even though two of our daughters were living with me. And had I lost the case it would have really hampered my ability to live. What worried me the most is that I kept great records and I needed a lawyer who could understand exactly what I was saying --- No I didn't hide any money and here is my proof. No she agreed to not take the pension and here is the proof. No her claim of not knowing anything about the finances is wrong and here is why. Yes she had access to all the finances despite her sayings she didn't and here is the proof. Yes she is lying about this and this and this and here is the proof. There was a lot for my attorney to learn and I mean a lot. But he was thorough with his notes and that is what I needed. Someone who could make the judge understand what I knew. I had three priorities 1) keep the alimony the same 2) keep my pension 3) keep the financial arrangement the same. Due to Jonathan's hard work the judge denied my ex wife's motion for a new trial and I won my case. We went to mediation on a few minor issues and I was totally happy with the result of those. In a nutshell I thought I won in a landslide. My lawyer was just better than her lawyer. I would be willing to speak with any of you if you have a question and I am sure Jonathan knows who I am so if anyone asks for a reference from this post and goes through Jonathan i would be more than willing to give you more information but because of what I do for a living I am going to keep this post anonymous. But to close I was completely satisfied with the results I had using Jonathan Brooks and you would be wise to consider him for your divorce.

Mr.Brooks was great with my case. He was organized, flexible and understanding. He responded to my calls and emails in a timely manner. I couldn't ask for anyone better.
- ★★★★★Jonathan knows alot more than we do as normal people.

Jonathan we brilliant in the court room without a doubt. As far as my case he kept me informed and filed all documents on time and had ideas I would have never thought about. Very professional and attentive at all times during the case. All and all I came out better than I ever expected to. My ex was a monster throughout the whole case. I was thinking the worst and Jonathan would email me or call me and keep me calm all the way through. With this being said I would hire or refer him in a heartbeat to anyone needing a divorce attorney.

Jonathan Brooks was my attorney for my divorce case and a subsequent child custody case. I found his integrity, professionalism and expertise to be exceptional. Also, he has been decisive in helping me successfully resolve all the issues associated with my cases. I was more than satisifed with the o utcome of both cases. He always returned my calls or emails whenever I had a question or concern. I will continue to rely on Jonathan as a key resource and I have recommended him without reservation.
