We all run into personal challenges throughout life and things happen. When I first engaged with Stephen he was soft spoken and young, which raised red flags for me. In our minds we all want to think of our personal legal defense as bull dogs, right? Well, I soon realized that our perception of wh at we want is not at all what we NEED. After talking with him, I was quickly introduced to a new approach. For example, if the top rated attorney (pit-bull) walked into the courtroom and everyone hates him you have to ask yourself how far you really think you'll get come time for negotiating? On the flip side of that, Stephen walked into the courtroom and there were smiles all around. I mean clerk of court, judges clerks, assistant prosecutor, and other attorneys. How far do you think you'll get if everyone loves your lawyer? Exactly! It's about finding the right fit with an attorney that has a relationship to leverage. People love this guy and want to work with him which will help your case in the long run. Stephen is very friendly, charming, quick witted, genuine, but more importantly - he cares about his clients. Stephen was excellent in negotiating and got me what I was hoping for (anger management classes). When I 1st walked into the courtroom for the final disposition, he was actually on his personal cell phone using my home address trying to research the closest location for me - that's the kind of lawyer you should hire! I will continue to recommend Stephen Johnson to anyone who seeks a criminal defense attorney. Stephen would be an asset to any case and any defendant who needs a trusted legal counsel. He is very easy to work with and truly amazing at what he does. Let's hope I don't run into another legal situation, but in the event - I now have him on my side.

A little over a year ago I was in an accident, totaled my car, rear-ended another driver and was arrested for an extreme DUI, (thank God, no one was injured.) Mr. Tinker came highly recommended to me by another well respected attorney in our city. He was available for a consultation with-in a few day s. Of course I was ashamed, humiliated by my huge mistake, nervous and probably a bit “scattered.” However, Mr. Tinker was extremely kind, non-judgmental, patient, straightforward, knowledgeable, gracious and a gentleman. I knew immediately that I could trust him, and he would “go to bat” for me. He also went to court for me, a few times which I truly appreciate. I must say, that he went above and beyond guiding me through every stressful detail associated with an extreme DUI; directing me to alcohol screening classes, assisting with ADOT and DMV requirements, and even connected me to an insurance agent and a manager of a local car dealership. It was a long drawn out year, however, when we went to court he was successful in negotiating a plea agreement which was most agreeable. For people who like short reviews when making decisions- When dealing with criminal charges, you get ONE chance to hire the right person. Hiring Kristen Curry was the best decision we ever made, as she is the most passionate, competent litigator you’re going to find. We were terrified when we first met with Kristen. Having no criminal background and being falsely accused of 6 felonies will do that to your typical law-abiding citizen, but Kristen meticulously navigated an extremely complex, detailed case that could’ve resulted in nearly 2 decades in prison. Instead, Kristen’s expertise during a month-long trial allowed for the jury to see the truth and produce a not-guilty verdict on each charge. Kristen literally produced life-changing results, and I am confident saying you will not find a better attorney than her. I wish I could pay her more money, as she is worth every penny and more! For people who like the more detailed reviews – Kristen is the third criminal defense attorney we hired when 6 felony charges were filed against my husband, and the trial she produced should be a masters class in criminal defense. Kristen Curry is a life saver!! Facing 30+ felony charges worth 3 life sentences I had been through 3 different law firms. Not having any criminal background and finding myself in a falsified nightmare, every prior Attorney was all about my case and gave me the "hard sell" after paying each of them large sums of money they became unreachable could never talk to them only would get their paralegal. They don't even show up for your court hearings they send junior Attorneys for the day to day stuff and they don't know how to stand up for you.
