Steve assisted us when my wife's parents moved out of a retirement home due to being unhappy with the food. This was a "purchase" type of unit, where they paid $200,000 when they moved in but were promised 90% of that would be returned to them if they moved out. After moving out they were told that they would not get their money until their unit was sold and occupied. Sure enough, buried in the legalese of the contract was that provision. With the housing market down in Phoenix, that could be years. We found that the retirement home owners had subsequently changed the contract such that that provision had to be initialed because others had complained of being misled. Steve filed suit and successfully negotiated the refund of the deposit.

Let me first say that Steve and I have been friends and colleagues for many years and know him to be a very bright and competent litigator. We both work at Sanders & Parks in Phoenix, Arizona. Unfortunately, I recently found myself in need of help with a DUI charge. Kristopher answered his phone at midnight when I was in police custody and scared. He immediately gave me direction, which prevented me from having my license automatically suspended for a year. He followed up with a text me ssage with a reminder to call him the next morning (on a Saturday). He met with me that same day, and was very honest about what I was facing (did not over-promise anything during consultation). Kristopher was able to help me get my minor traffic violations along with the DUI above .08 charge dismissed (leaving me with the DUI impaired to the slightest degree charge). He was also able to help me get the one day of jail time waived. He was very responsive whenever I had a question.
