In my experience, it has been very tedious and daunting to begin a conversation with an attorney, especially one at a law firm with other partners, etc. That is, usually law firms won't lend an ear, it seems, unless you pay $100-300 initial consulting fee, which is basically a $15 overview of your c ase and whether they think it's worthwhile$$$. However, not only was I surprised to see Attorney Rhatz offer a no-cost consultation, but he also kept it "real." He advised me with information that even seemed to work against his assumed interest in profit (i.e., he didn't try to exploit me for money), such as by providing me with self-help research suggestions, and even helped me put together an outline for my case. He didn't want me to lose more money winning with him (he didn't want me to spend so much money to retain him, that even if winning the case, I'd still be at a net negative dollar-loss). He gave me his undivided attention, asked questions that showed he actually paid attention, and was very resourceful with directing me towards credible sources of jurisprudence. What's more, is that he didn't throw me out after 15 minutes, but rather stayed with me until he felt I was sufficiently informed with the material and answers to questions to send me along my way. This man even read through all my notes and connected with me as a person. I also appreciated his aggressive, but civil, nature towards vanquishing the countering party. He is strategic, he is prepared to preempt the countering party's legal arguments by first calling them out himself, and sparks reassurance that he is sedulously and astutely on the case. Obviously, I would recommend attorney R Andrew Rahtz for the aforementioned reasons, despite only meeting with him one time on an preliminary consultation.

When you experience a sudden tragedy in your life, you need to feel that you can trust your lawyer 100% to come through for you. This lawyer is very insidious in getting you to trust him in your most vulnerable hour, making you think he knows what he's talking about. Once he starts billing you (and you start paying him), he loses interest in your case completely, you can't find him or get a response out of him. When you do get advice, it is usually bad advice. His incompetence cost me THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in expenses I didn't need to incur and another attorney (and more fees) to correct the mess he created with my probate case which I'm still dealing with several years later! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this so-called lawyer.

Do not hire this law firm. They make you feel like you’re not important. They don’t answer calls or emails and months later do not have a simple job they were hired to get done finished. Complete nightmare.

Mr. Fite took on a case he had almost no possibility of winning or even settling. I explained my case, he bluntly told me the deal. I almost walked out of his office, after hearing his candor. The only thing that made me stay was the statement, "You may not come back, but get better. That's the mo st important thing." I looked into this man's eyes. He meant what he said, or he's one HELLA good actor! Let me tell you my story.., I was on my way home from Glendale passing through Scottsdale to get to Mesa (Scenic Route). Sitting at a red light at Scottsdale & Camelback Roads, I was rear-ended by a "lady" who "sneezed" while driving. She tried to persuade me not to call the cops (HA!). Berin is a very matter of fact and straight to the point lawyer, which I can truly appreciate. He doesn't sugar coat anything and gives you realistic expectations as to what to expect through the entire process. I've had 2 personal injury cases with him, and the first one was "too hard to prove" for the original lawyers, but Berin came in, fought for me and won a decent settlement. The second one he did the same, but I was a passenger so while the work wasn't as much, he did just as great of a job. I would highly recommend him and his firm for any legal issues that fall into their area of expertise. Mr. Irish was incredibly helpful with legal advice on reading and understanding the renters laws in place in Arizona as well as corroborating those with the lease I had signed as a renter. When my landlord attempted to kick me out because he wanted to sell the property, Mr. Irish gave me peace knowin g that my living situation was protected by Arizona law and that the landlord could not terminate the lease unilaterally or raise the rent in the middle of the lease. I came to discuss a will. Harold began our meeting by singing me a Beatles song. He offered me some jolly ranchers and then we got down to business. Harold then invited me to play a game of chess. I politely declined and he said he understood. The will took about two hours to hammer everything o ut, but Harold only charged me for 45 minutes. I thought that was very gracious of him. As I was leaving Harold asked me if I'd like to listen to him play the guitar. I accepted and was pleasantly surprised at how good he was. It was a great experience. I told Harold that I plan to recommend him to all my friends. Harold truly knows his stuff...and he's a sensational singer with a golden voice.

Compared to other attorneys, I just didn't feel confident in her abilities, she seems like somebody who's more interested in being accepted by the legal community then somebody that would actually advocate for you. I certainly would not trust her in a courtroom as she seems very meek.
