I was represented by Kristina in both a federal case and a state case. Throughout the entire process she was very hard to reach by phone or email. Not to mention when I did have court appearances she would often send someone else to deal with me. I have dealt with many different attorneys and have ne ver encountered this. I paid to be represented by her, I did not appreciate her sending associates, often her as well as her associates would show up past the expected time agreed upon. The biggest issue for me was her not following through with the duties I hired her to handle, along with being EXTREMELY FLAKY as far as handling communication with me as a client.

In 2011 I was honorably discharged from the Army after serving 6 years. I am a combat veteran and I have chronic PTSD. I was arrested for assault because I slammed a vehicle in park with family members in it. I had no prior arrests or any run in with the law in my life. I was told by Mr. Novak that i f I did not take the plea given by the DA that I would most likely spend time in jail and lose my parental rights. I was a Military Police officer for 6 years and because of his threats to take the plea I am now a DV offender and can not pursue any career in law enforcement. I found out that my ex husband, who is also a veteran (2 years, never deployed), assaulted his girlfriend and was given the option to go to veterans court and got his charges dropped. I feel completely cheated and taken advantage of. I gave this man a lot of money to basically do nothing but stand there next to me. If you are a veteran, go elsewhere.
