Mrs. Skinner was an easy choice for our case. From the start, she was friendly and personable but made it very clear she takes her responsibilities seriously. She was diligent in asking the right questions and her staff was always helpful in submitting documentation for our case. We worked closely wi th her for approximately 6 months as our case led to trial. At trial, she rightfully presented our case in logical succession and with grounds for the court to find in our favor. During cross examination, she was aggressive and thorough in her attempt to strip the opposing party of credibility. In the end, we received a win for the things we had requested and couldnt be happier. We appreciate her services and will gladly recommend both Brittany Skinner and Davis Miles to anyone going forward for their legal needs.

Like the other reviews states, Miss Skinner is a perfectly nice person but in a family court case you need someone that is aggressive. She is anything but. Gets steam rolled by other lawyers & doesn’t fight for her client. In the end it was a waste of $25k to not even have any outcome in almost a yea r. Find someone that will fight for you in every sense of the word.

A nice, friendly person; but NOT aggressive. Highly ethical and extremely careful and cautious; but do not count on her to go the extra mile, especially if there's any "risk" strategy involved. Missed deadlines, forgets stuff a lot. Not well-organized. Blames the judge and opposing counsel for losses . My case presents her with many difficulties, but she has not risen to the challenge. I have not lost "the war", but I've lost pretty much every "battle" so far. And there were many battles she should have taken the fight to long ago, looking back in hindsight. She is not an incompetent lawyer, but if your case is anything but open-and-shut, do not trust her with your custody rights. Get a fighter.

DO NOT HIRE BRAD. It was a nightmare working with him. Does not respond, will forward your calls and send the automated text response saying he’s not available. Never returned my calls. I had to chase him down and leave multiple voicemails and emails just to get a call back and nothing. He was also n ot responsive to the opposing counsel and did not care that we kept missing deadlines that I did not know about but he did. Brad gave me the impression that he folded to the opposing counsel and was on their side trying to convince me to start agreeing and looking at 50/50 schedules which is what my sons father wanted simply to not pay child support. Brad did not care one bit about my case. Sanctions were filed warranting ME to pay my ex’s attorney fees for failing to respond when again I was unaware of. Brad forwarded me the files and emails which also clearly show the other attorney saying that Brad was not responsive. Ridiculous and unbelievable. Fortunately I made the decision to Replace Brad with Blake Holliday who I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We executed the court room and won my case!! I don’t want anyone to go through what I did. Unfortunately I have to write this review to help you make the Informed decision. See evidence of the final outcome so you can see that this is a legitimate review. A review was also completed for Blake Holliday if you want to hire a good law firm.

Brad is a really great attorney to work with he will be upfront with you and tell you like it is. He will work his hardest to get you the best result he can for you. But he will not lie to you. A REALLY GREAT ATTORNEY HAPPY TO HAVE HIM ON MY SIDE.

Me and my husband retained Brads services to represent my husband in a aggravated assault case that resulted in a hung jury after a 7 day trial. His exceptional courtroom presence was beyond exceptional. He never once referenced a law book or had any files piled on his table. His knowledge of the law was impressive and his trial strategy was a pleasure to observe. The prosecutors were blindsided by his ability to reduce their arguments so rapidly they looked like 1st year law students. Needless to say he reduced their 97% conviction rate. I consulted with Bonnie about a child support case when I had lost my job and was trying to get an adjustment. She suggested I not pay until the court date that had been set for the adjustment. Following that advice cost me tens of thousands of dollars mostly due to a thrashing of my credit report, b ut also due to fees and interest the DES began charging. Do not trust Bonnie with anything related to child support. She also brought up the fact that she wanted to be paid before I left the office more than three times throughout the one hour consultation. Once would have sufficed. If that's the sort of experience you want, definitely call Bonnie.

It was clear almost immediately that money was her primary focus. I do not feel she acted as my advocate at an incredibly vulnerable time in my life. She seemed to mediate during mediation rather than advocate for my best interests. I was confused and vulnerable and found her compassion to be lack ing. I was not adequately prepared by her for the very important mediation, and was required to correct many gross errors myself on mediation documents at the last minute under rushed circumstances. Bonnie did not request a much-needed appraisal that cost me a lot of money. The language in the final agreement was not clearly defined and resulted in additional arbitration or attorney effort and fees to clarify the provisions. I was ultimately required to hire another lawyer at much expense to try to fix some of the problems created. Essentially I felt "thrown under the bus" by this attorney.

Not until years later did I realize the wonderful job that Bonnie did for me. I was one of the first in my circle to go through a horrible, nasty, divorce with a very spiteful spouse. I got 95% of what I wanted. When I later found out how people in similar situations to mine fared much more than j ust much worse than me, I realized how great of a job she did. In a divorce where a man gets 50% of everything from parenting time to visitation and holidays with his daughter, when a spouse accuses them (falsely anyway) of domestic violence and the opposing attorneys get the court to recognize domestic violence along with orders of protection, the attorney would have to be commended on doing a great job.

When you first enter into divorce proceedings the whole process can be intimidating and trust me YOU DO NOT KNOW THE LAWS (even if you think that you do)! We all think about money. I can tell you don't shop for a lawyer based on the cheapest as it will cost you more in the long run if you are not r epresented well. Bonnie is not the cheapest, but she is the BEST! I had been married over 30 years and my children are all adults. Bonnie worked with me for almost a year (yes mine was MESSY!) and in the end we were able to get a binding agreement with my Ex. You may say "So what?" It kept me from a judge deciding my fate which could have been much worse because they look at your last 5 years of annual income (they were very good years). In divorce there are NO winners, however I can say that I wasn't a loser either and I am enjoying my life now! After you get through your divorce Bonnie will tell you one more thing..."Do not get married again without a PRENUPTIAL AGREEMENT"! Words of wisdom! I HIGHLY recommend Bonnie Booden!

This attorney is the worst that I have ever dealt with. He is unresponsive and does not follow through with anything. He provdied no results as a mediator, and his office staff is just plain ignorant and incompetent. His secretary did not how to schedule a meeting. David finds ways to require his client to perform certain activities which he would charge them for to run up the bill in excess. David wasted my time and money on his useless rambling and after his mediation, there were no positive results.

My experience with David has been over the past two years of my divorce. David has not been responsive and has not advocated for me and my children. In hindsight, I probably should have been more forceful or consulted with a different attorney. David is extremely nice, but in a divorce environment that is really not a quality that is necessary for an attorney. I have paid over $49,000 over the past two years to David and his firm. They have not been responsive when I have called for information and are extremely disorganized. I was embarassed to see how organized the opposing counsel has been and continues to be . I am happy my situation has come to a resolution but I do not believe David provided good represenatation.

I would never recommend David Horowitz. I signed a retainer agreement for $15,000 in August, 2012. I paid David $12,500 after two months of unclear communication, mistakes and stress. 1.The Process Server did not having the facts correct when serving my husband with divorce papers. Due to the miscommunication, my children were put in the middle and frightened to say the least. 2. Appointments scheduled with opposing attorney and husband without me being included. After learning of this, I did not agree and told him so. Appointment was not scheduled. There were no financials discussed as of yet. 3. Appointments that I paid for, where follow up appointments were supposed to be scheduled by Paralegal, and were not. No apologies from David. 4. A Consent to Withdraw was recommended. Without knowledge of what this meant, or how long it would take to get signed, numerous emails were sent back and forth due to my lack of understanding. In conclusion, if I still lived in the State of Arizona, I would arbitrate with the Stare Bar. Due to the circumstances of my divorce, I cannot endure the travel cost and stress. I called David in February, 2013 and asked if he would settle on an amount. He refused and said I signed a fee agreement.

I went to David after my dissatisfaction with another attorney who was handling my spousal support case. David took over at the last minute, did all the work required and best of all, I felt very taken care of and protected by David. He is very well respected by the judge on our case and because he knew her style, he did not push things even though I wanted him to. He knew if we waited things out, she would see my ex for the liar he was and that happened! Because of David's tactics she eventually found my ex in contempt of court and even imposed sanctions on him, which David said almost never happens. I have two separate actions against my ex that I have to file one at a time, but because David was so proactive and has a positive non aggressive attitude (but assertive), he got my ex to agree to the second matter, which will avoid us from having to go to court again to file for that, saving us money. David is extremely trustworthy and knowledgeable about the issues I was dealing with. When we did have another issue arise (my ex filing for bankruptcy) that he was not expert in, he referred me another attorney in his firm. I would highly recommend David.

I rarely write reviews, however I felt the need to warn others. Mr. Horowitz is greedy, unprofessional, and all he cares about is money. Mr. Horowitz did not communicate appropriately, did not do the necessary research, created a complete mess out of my case, and severely damaged my family. Both pa rties involved agreed that his practice was fraudulent, at best. I wish I had found a different person for the job, and I would never return to his firm.

Bill represented me with the remaining legal dispute with my ex-husband on finalization on enforcing the decree. It consisted of a rental property in California, remodel of the rental property, medical bills of our child, QDRO dispute. He has given me legal advice every step of the way.
