I never wanted to find myself in a position where I needed a lawyer. Ashamed, embarrassed, and scared, I was going through many emotions. When I called Karen, her first words to me were "Are you ok?" It immediately calmed me. She spoke to me as a friend without judgement. Whenever Karen met w ith me she was always friendly, but also very professional and prepared. While it's never a good situation when you have to hire a defense attorney, the disquietude and apprehension of a pending legal matter can be made much easier by hiring an attorney like Karen. After being accused of street racing with a multitude of stacked charges, I contacted Karen - someone who ha d given me excellent consultation advice in the past - to discuss my case. She was able to sit down with me right away and create a plan for both the civil and criminal/traffic portions of the matter. Within a few days, our initial meeting and all of the associated initial paperwork was completed, and she got to work on my case - this was timely. I can say, in all honesty, it was worth paying her to show up to all three of the appearances I had - two in Denver Municipal Court and one meeting with the City Attorney. She is the type of attorney that is on time, communicative, and ensures all matters are taken care of for you while you're present in court. Karen resolved my case exactly two months after the original police encounter having expertly navigated a civil matter with the city of Denver, with an extraordinarily satisfactory outcome. It was an outcome that allowed me to keep my license and freedom. Here are the two primary reasons I would recommend her and trust her: she is seasoned, and thus knows or has worked with a lot of judges, DAs, and city attorneys in the past, and she is not the type of attorney that will milk you for money. The former is helpful for obvious reasons, a well connected lawyer is worth their weight in gold. The latter is present in her modus operandi - by resolving my case as quickly as possible with a FAR better-than-expected plea deal, she saved me the time and money of having to show up to court again, have a DMV hearing, and the like. However, she was also willing to intelligently fight the charges if it came to that, and clearly had a strategy developed long before first appearance. We even communicated while she was on family vacation - during Christmas - out of the country via e-mail, so I was never left in the dark. She is conscientious about the costs involved in legal matters, and will always advise you to do what is both best for the outcome and your wallet. Ultimately, Karen worked well within my budget and provided me a high standard of legal representation. She is the kind of attorney that will keep you in line, but in a way that is extremely professional and effective. Again, I would recommend her to anyone, especially if you're facing a extortionate traffic ticket or something more serious.

I had to take a few minutes to let everyone know just how great of a job Trent did on our injury case. My wife and I were in a horrible accident in 2021 and we received a recommendation to contact the Trani law firm and boy are glad we did. Mr. Trani blew the prosecutor out of the water at trial. He was prepared for every legal issue that could have been brought up against me, as well as all of the evidence that the prosecutor thought that he had to try and convict me. It wasn't even close. I was found Not Guilty by the jury after a 4 day trial. I was falsely accused of vehicular assault, DUI, and leaving the scene of an accident a couple of year ago and hired Mr. Trani to represent me. I was facing possible prison time because two of these charges were felonies. Mr. Trani had an investigator talk to witnesses and looked at every angle of the prosecutor's case against me. He worked my case for over six months before it went to trial. I can't tell you how happy that I am that I found Mr. Trani to represent me. I had a very serious felony criminal matter in Denver District Court about a year ago. I contacted several attorneys when I was trying to decide who to have represent me. Mr. Trani was far and away the most impressive with his knowledge of the law, his ideas for my defense, and his ability to make me feel comforted. I went ahead and hired Mr. Trani and am so happy that I did. He looked over my case and found several flaws in the district attorneys case against me. He hired an investigator who also found witnesses and surveillance video that was favorable to me. We were set for trial this last summer and I was very confident that Mr. Trani would be successful for me. I could tell that he was prepared and way overmatched the DA who we were up against. I was offered a low level misdemeanor a few days before the trial that I could not refuse, so the case never actually made it to the trial date. All I had to do was pay a small fine and some court costs, and do 24 hours of community service. It was Mr. Trani that helped me get this great deal. Mr. Jeffrey Wolf and Wolf Law literally saved my life. Mr. Wolf is hands down the best attorney in the State of Colorado. Not only do his awards and recognitions take up more space than a standard studio apartment, he will work diligently to get you the single best Court outcome possible--my experien ce proves this. Facing accusations of domestic violence (DV) not once, but twice, I phoned Mr. Wolf. (He responds to calls/emails within the HOUR, but no more than a day.) I was looking at the loss of my healthcare license, time in prison, and a future that I thought was no longer worth living. I was on probation (a deal that I got from another attorney - big mistake) when I engaged Mr. Wolf following a second accusation of DV. I was looking at a minimum of 1 year jail, but likely closer to 2. I was devastated. However, the deal that Mr. Wolf got me was something out of a movie. Mr. Wolf knows the laws better than anybody else because he literally had to explain this unique, complex deal to not only the DA, but to the JUDGE. It seriously was like something that's mentioned in one paragraph of one law textbook--and Mr. Wolf was the only one who knew about it. I didn't even get probation! Nor did I violate my initial probation! All I had to do was stay out of additional trouble for a year, and it got dismissed! This required Mr. Wolf to extensively communicate with the DA's from both Counties, but also both Judges. Mr. Wolf is who you want on your side because he knows how to talk to whoever it may be to secure you the deal you need for your future. As if that wasn't crazy enough, I crashed my car a few months later. Because I allowed a good samaritan to drive me the two minutes home, I was charged with Hit and Run. I was looking at another probation violation, and a violation of the "Stay out of Trouble" deal. I was looking at a minimum 2 years jail, all for crashing my car in the snow. When it was time for Court, Mr. Wolf had expertly identified a virtually unnoticeable discrepancy between the responding officer's report and the body cam footage. Because Mr. Wolf noticed this, the whole case was DISMISSED! Choose the lawyer that is going to find these minute details--Mr. Wolf. It gets crazier - I was recovering from significant brain injuries throughout the entire case, which Mr. Wolf so kindly accommodated for (I needed lots of reminders, which Mr. Wolf provided). Because of this, I had trouble complying with the State-mandated DV treatment. I had gone from agency to agency, until eventually, the DA revoked my probation and recommended me for conviction and sentencing. I truly thought there was no way another miracle could happen, so I mentally prepared for jail. Clearly, I forgot I had Mr. Wolf on my side, because he secured me yet ANOTHER deal, this time even more complex. Mr. Wolf had convinced not only the DA on the other side of the State, but the Judge on the other side of the State to allow me a final chance under unique circumstances. He literally got them to agree to hold off on the Probation revocation, but still hold it over my head, and give me another chance at completing the DV treatment. All I had to do was complete the treatment, which I did, and it was DISMISSED!. Because of Mr. Wolf and Wolf Law, I have a background check to prove none of this ever even happened. I was given a second chance at life because of Mr. Wolf. Here's what I can guarantee: I guarantee you will NOT find a better attorney, who gets you a better deal than Mr. Wolf and Wolf Law. The case involved the issue of ownership of funds in a garnishment proceeding involving a government debt dated to 1998. Specifically an inheritance, not intended for the garnishee was seized, inappropriately was the opinion of garnishee. Complex financial transactions was made more complex by the g arnishment arm of the government. However the case ended better than expected with a settlement that exceeded expectations, great work by attorney Cobb.
