My employee was picked up and turned over for deportation Uganda. I wanted to help & I visited two other immigration attorneys who declined to take the case as they felt she had no case. Then I contacted Jorge and his attitude was completely differrent. No promises but at least he said he would try. My employee was released on bond and 3 1/2 years later, Jorge, myself and my employee were standing on the courthouse steps holding her documents approving her green card. When I was hit with a DUI related charge, I had no idea what to do or how to go about the legal process at all. In hiring a defense lawyer, I went through 2 or 3 consultations before contacting Russell Hebets. First review mysteriously unposted. I am very grateful to Russell for the work he did on my case the resolution was even better than anticipated. He knew what to expect, was friendly with the judge, communicated well and willing to speak to my family and in the end got an outcome that was unexpect ed positively. In whatever phase we are in post-covid, the laws and rigidness within the justice system have not changed at all since covid began, and is a place to avoid at all cost. That said I can’t recommend Russell and his firm highly enough, even for a consult. Their firm is very straightforward and realistic, communicates well and is worth consulting with at a minimum.
