- ★★★★★Elaine Fitch takes down the Government (David and Goliath)
Arnel · government law ·
Elaine is a great attorney, after working with her you will quickly see why she was made Partner in the Firm. Her knowledge on Government Issues is outstanding, and will cover area's you may have never thought of. She kept me well informed during the whole process, so that trust was never an issue. i f anyone is facing a situation with a government agency, I would highly recommend Elaine Fitch and her Firm to exceed all your expectations!
- ★★★★★Not for clearance related matters
anonymous · government law ·
I hired this attorney to work on an interrogatory and response to SOR on my firm's recommendation that Elizabeth Newman was the lawyer. Ms. Newman retired, so her colleague took the case instead. After that one thing after another kept going poorly. I'd receive agreements with someone else's retainer info incompletely removed, both the interrogatory and SOR failed to pass review, the interim drafts given to me had errors, lapses in logic, and spelling mistakes that I had to put upways of >10 hours a week to fix so we wouldn't respond with nonsensical content. If I brought it up, this lawyer was argumentative and defensive, and she spent time trying to prove herself correct instead of working on my case. She ultimately billed the time she spent defending her poor work quality back to me as well. She didn't know what a written interrogatory was when I first received it, and I found the definition in a book online that she and Ms. Newman supposedly wrote, which means she didn't write that portion. I found her knowledge of clearances and strategies lacking. I've hired a different firm and the difference is night and day in both quality and knowledge. She may be ok as an employment lawyer, but I wouldn't come here for a clearance-related matter.
- ★★★★★I highly recommend KCNF!
Shari · employment law ·
I’ve turned to them on a few occasions for legal counsel on an employment issue and each time the lawyers at the firm were very responsive and amazingly helpful. They worked with me to find the right approach to the issue and provided solid legal counsel. They had my back and fought for my rights. Wh en I need an employment attorney, I will always call KCNF.
- ★★★★★The Best Employment Attorney You Can Hire
Linda Thomas · employment law ·
I cannot say enough positive things about Attorney Fitch. If you have a work issue and you want a hardworking, dependable, knowledgeable, and responsive Attorney, call Attorney Fitch. Even though my case continued for over a year, Attorney Fitch was able to recall dates and specific situations that I had forgotten. If I emailed her with a question or concern, she was extremely responsive and always answered my question within a few hours if not sooner. Attorney Fitch was extremely organized and supportive throughout my situation and I honestly would have had a difficult time getting through the process if it had not been for Attorney Fitch. I have and will continue to recommend her to friends and colleagues. Attorney Fitch is extremely knowledgeable with cases regarding the federal government and whistleblower retaliation as well.
- ★★★★★So far so good

I hired Ms Fitch from her bio and comments and because my case is still on going and active I cannot comment on success as if yet but I can tell you that since signing with her she has been very active on the case with an upbeat attitude which puts me at ease that I had a good gut feeling about Ms Fi tch.
- ★★★★★If the firm didn't lie under oath, we would have won.
anonymous · personal injury ·
Mr. Woodfield assisted me in a defamation case against one of the largest banks in the U.S. Although, we did not initially prevail, there was a reason. The NY Times and other media outlets have written multiple articles regarding the matter. According to clients directly involved, the bank's emplo yee(s) made verifiable false statements under oath. After arbitration, the SEC and the CFTC assessed fines and a disgorgement of $367 million dollars. Must prove I have been right all along. The saga continues. Thanks for all of your assistance Nick.
- ★★★★★Exceptional Experience In Employment Law!!
Matthew · employment law ·
I retained Nicholas regarding an employment law matter that was very tricky! Needless to say, 99.99% of the cases in this area result in an unfavorable outcome. Nicholas quickly guided us to a successful outcome and we ended up in the 0.01% that have a positive outcome! I am incredibly impressed! He had substantial experience in the area, attended conferences where it was discussed, and had discussed the matter with attorneys on various sides of the matter so he knew how every side would view it. He did not need to research the matter and knew the law in great detail! Additionally, we were constrained on time, so we needed his assistance several times within a constrained window. Nicholas and his team went way out of their way to help us, explain how everything works, and help us navigate through the issue to a successful outcome! I will use him and his team again! I recommend him to others as well! Exceptional experience! He made a very stressful experience so much better!
- ★★★★★Not a great lawyer!
anonymous · employment law ·
Nick Woodfield mishandled my employment case and mislead me to sign a release agreement with a lot of holes in it. Mr Woodfield was assigned to my case by his firm and I did not have any say in him leading the case. Once I decided to settle, I clearly provided Mr Woodfield with a list of key provisio ns that need to be included in the settlement, but he was not able to achieve any of the key ones. He initially presented himself as the best in the industry suggesting he would do a great job, but his results were terrible. Mr Woodfield made many mistakes along the way, including process mistakes, that hurt the case much. Mr Woodfield did not even clearly update me on his lack of success in getting concession from the other side. I would find his failure to achieve the set objectives while going through latest versions of the settlement agreement. There were material differences between him and the lawyer representing the other side. Based on the email exchanges I saw, the lawyer for the other side would say "my client needs xyz" in a very caring manner while Mr Woodfield would say "my client demanded xyz" presenting it as if it was an extra unnecessary demand. Mr Woodfield is also a rough communicator. In an effort to cover up his mistakes and weaknesses, Mr Woodfield would sometimes raise his voice and communicate in a very nasty manner On the positive side, he was available to chat whenever needed and respected our schedule and would show up for meetings consistently. Overall, I was highly dissatisfied with Mr Woodfield's handling of my case and both his process and result were NOT great.

Great and Knowledgeable attorney I had a phone consultation with him and he gave me fantastic advice and brought up points that nobody mentioned. It was regarding federal employment and EEO.
- ★★★★★When you need the best, call Nick.

Mr. Woodfield, Mr. R. Scott Oswald and the Employment Law Group successfully represented me in a five year whistleblower/employment case against my employer, a U.S. Government Agency. Attorneys are like physicians in that when you need a specialist, you want the best. Nick and the ELG may be expen sive, but I have found that you get what you pay for when it comes to representation. Our case took five years to litigate against the Agency and the Merit Systems Protection Board. Ultimately, my case went before the U.S. Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. Thanks to Nick and the ELG, we won a precedent setting decision and increased protections for federal workers. This was clearly attributable to Mr. Woodfield's knowledge, his outstanding writing skills, and his hard work. From the first time I met with the ELG, I was presented with a well thought out plan of handling the case. I agree with those who complimented Mr. Woodfield on his outstanding performance in a trial setting. I would not want to go into a hearing without Mr. Woodfield and his team. I also agree that he gave me the right answers, not just the answers that I wanted to hear on many occasions. I recommend Mr. Woodfield and the ELG to everyone I know would not hesitate to use them again myself.
- ★★★★★Alan has been my "go to" attorney
Steve · litigation ·
Alan has helped me with several issues over the years. He is level headed patient and very supportive. This latest representation Alan came through with a phenomenal result and as usual I am very pleased. ( I am prohibited from saying anything more which is frustrating) My advice - if you are on t he fence about an issue go see Alan for a consultation. Just tell him what you are experiencing. Alan has over 30 years of experience and as a result he is adept at applying the law to your circumstances. I strongly recommend

- ★★★★★Security Clearance Reinstatement
Paul · government law ·
Upon having my security clearance suspended, I immediately contacted Alan Lescht and Associates. After our initial consultation, where I had the opportunity to explained the circumstances surrounding my situation, and received feedback and counsel from Mr. lescht, I was convinced that I had chosen th e right firm to represent me. The Firm was very supportive throughout the process, and the specific attorney assigned to my case [Susan Kruger] was very thorough, clear and concise in outlining how we would approach resolving my issue. She communicated with me throughout the process of preparing my rebuttal to the Statement of Reasons (SOR), and insured the rebuttal was clear, and concisely addressed every point in the SOR. She also insured my rebuttal was submitted to my host agency point of contact in a timely manner. After 10 days, my Security Clearance and facility access was restored, and I was able to return to work. I would strongly recommend Alan Lescht and Associates to anyone who is in need of a quality law firm to handle their security clearance issues; they are truly the best in my book. Paul A Very Satisfied Customer,
- ★★★★★Worth More Than I Could Possibly Pay
Dedrick · litigation ·
I’m not at liberty to go into detail about my specific case. That aside, I can take the time to give credit where it’s due to Alan Lescht and Associates particularly Tamara Slater, Sara McDonough, and Joyce Dozier. This law firm by no means is cheap when you look at things from a peephole viewpoint. Notwithstanding you may find as I did that they are willing to discount their rates. They did that in part by using a creative strategy of resource alignment by using a blend of Associate Attorneys and Shareholders to perform the day to day maintenance of my case. But not only that, they literally discounted their hourly rates. Moving along, the three associates previously prefaced never treated me like just a number nor simply a client. Thats important to note because I’ve read other reviews that have said that the firm is only about money. Those ladies treated me like a human being throughout. They did so by being empathetic towards my financial situation, the ups and downs of the arduous journey of my lawsuit, etc. Evidence of such can be affirmed where Ms. Slater specifically took it upon herself to simply pick up the phone and call me after we’d had a heated settlement discussion with the Agency. Her purpose in doing so was mostly to ask if I was okay. Additional evidence of such occurred several months later when Ms. McDonough shared her disappointment with the results of everything and that my family and myself would be in her thoughts and prayers. Neither one of them had to do that but those ladies did. But not only that, they were able to do the secure me a settlement that I can reasonably live with out of an impossible and hopeless situation. Alan Lescht and Associates took a bit of a financial loss on this case because they did a lot more work than what they were compensated for. But not only that, they took a financial loss because I could never pay them enough for all that they did throughout my case. Thank you Ms. Slater, McDonough, and Dozier from the bottom of my heart. I highly recommend this law firm to anyone.
- ★★★★★The Best Experiance
Jimmy ·
I originally contacted two other firms before speaking with Mr. Alan Lescht. The two other firms after speaking to them on the phone did not review any of the documents that I sent, both requesting payment for consultation. A totally different and positive experience with Mr. Alan Lescht. After I submitted my information through the website on Saturday, within 5 minutes I got a response from Mr. Alan Lescht with the name and phone number of the person to contact on Monday. Both Ms. Joyce Dozier and Mr. Alan Lescht reviewed my information prior to recommending a consultation. During the consultation, Mr. Alan Lescht provided me with excellent advice with additional steps I should take prior to retaining them. I felt that both Ms. Joyce Dozier and Mr. Alan Lescht were extremely genuine and empathetic with what I am going through. They went well above and beyond the call of duty. Well worth the consultation fees and will retain them after I complete their recommendations. When I told Mr. Alan Lescht how thankful I was he seemed extremely thrilled to hear that. Since I am in Japan, staying up betwen 11:00 pm to 2:00 am to speak with Ms. Joyce Dozier and Mr. Alan Lescht was well worth it.
