  • ★★★★★Barry saved my son's life.

    anonymous · criminal defense ·

    Barry helped me to save my son's life. He so well represented him in our legal case; but, that was only a part of his excellence. He helped my son to survive with his knowlege of psychology , his compassion, caring and support, so my son did not act on his suicide thoughts. Barry helped him to m aintain his drug sobriety through an incredibly difficult and painful legal case. My son was suicidal from the angst of this case which required my son to look back at his years of child abuse and then into his past drug addiction. Barry worked with my son, my son's psychologist and with me to get through this ordeal. Barry followed through perfectly and quickly on any matter that needed attention. I never had to wait for a response in those difficult months which spanned well over a year. Quite an accomplishment! He developed positive relationships with the prosecution and kept things on as even keel as possible. I highly recommend Barry and am grateful to have found him.

  • ★★★★★Semi-retired

    James · employment law ·

    20 years ago (1994) Barry saved my job at Georgetown University. I was since promoted and received several employee commendations. I retired from the university in 2003 and as a result of the staff benefits package, my son who was 5 years old at the time, received the dependent tuition. He graduated this month from the University of Maryland with honors. Although I have not spoken to Barry in over twenty years, I credit his wisdom, intelligence and fortitude for making this all possible for me, my wife Faith and Zach. We will be forever greatful. Which is why I have no problem with leaving my name.

  • ★★★★★Kobie Flowers: A Top-Notch, Well-rounded, Reputable Trial Lawyer! A+++

    K. S. · criminal defense ·

    Kobie is not only the hardest working lawyers out there, he is extremely intelligent and incredibly talented in the courtroom with his strong persuasion and communication skills. He is very well-articulated, aggressive, experienced, and a champion fighter. Having such a well-rounded individual is dif ficult to come across. Many lawyer nowadays take shortcuts and rush their clients into taking pleas. If you are facing serious charges, call Kobie and see for yourself. I have never seen anybody so well composed and calm under high pressure in the courtroom. So far, every battle, we have won against the Gov. Earlier this year, I was facing 15 years on a mandatory minimum drug case and Kobie has worked it down under five and we are possibly looking at probation and/dismissal. He never sets unrealistic expectations and is completely honest with the state of your case. He will fight for his life in order to get the charges dismissed while working to uncover any injustices of the Government and/or District Attorney that are against the law or unconstitutional, while upholding justice. He is committed to working his hardest fighting your case... even while being at a family wedding and on vacation with his family, he still keeps his phone and court files close by, working diligently. He is a machine. Unfortunately, I have fought other cases prior to my federal drug indictment.. My previous lawyers had more experience, however, they didn't do crap for me. They rushed me into taking a plea deal, doing minimal work. Don't make that samemistake. This is your Freedom and your life on the line. Trust Kobie. He fights as if your case is his own. He also has a new lawyer on the team, named Lauren Case who is very experienced (i believe 10-15 years), and has put in great work in my case. Don't hire a lazy lawyer who will rush you into taking a plea and/or cooperating without giving your case some work. Go with Kobie Flowers and his Firm.

  • ★★★★★Counsel Who Has Your Back

    anonymous · litigation ·

    I am one of the lucky people who has called Mark my friend since 2001. He and I lost touch for a number of years, but I always felt like if I ever got in personal legal trouble, Mark would be the first person I would call. And, he was. Last year Mark swiftly stepped in to defend me against a TRO file d by my (now former) upstairs neighbor to gain advantage against my husband in a longstanding condo dispute. It was a dark period in my life, but Mark was able to resolve the TRO matter and the longstanding condo dispute. Any client that Mark takes on is a lucky client indeed. I also echo many of the clients reviews about Mark being smart, commanding, and overall excellent attorney and strategist.

  • ★★★★★Highly skilled and effective advocate.

    Don Malarcik · criminal defense ·

    I served as local counsel on a 100 count multi defendant RICO, money laundering case. Mark Schamel was incredible. He orchestrated a tsunami of evidence, arguments and experts that overwhelmed and overpowered the Government. Over the course of 18 months, Mark removed a prosecutor from the case for mi sconduct, exposed the Governments overreaching and resolved the case after a corporate entity pled to a single misdemeanor charge. He is an amazing lawyer and an even better human being.
