- ★★★★★Inspires confidence

I contacted Sue through the recommendations had read online. We set up a time for me to talk t her about the issues I was experiencing at work that were of great concern to me. That first call reassured me that Sue was exactly the right attorney to guide me through the issues I was concerned and w orried about, Over a period of about a year, I was able to call her and discuss various issues and she was great at talking me off "the ledge" . She provided pragmatic advice that allowed me to view my work issues in a way that empowered me. On top of all of this, Sue has a great sense of humor that helped to diffuse my anxiety. I would recommend Sue without any reservations.
- ★★★★★Greedy Lawyer

I consulted with Susan, sent her a couple of pages prior to our consult (billed hourly). She overcharged, billing over 2hr when we only spoke for 30min and she was 10min late. She then offered me a contract with 1/2 her hourly rate taking 1/3 of my settlement. For a lawyer who didn't think my case was strong, she didn't mind taking my money. I consulted with other lawyers, and she was the only one who said my case was not strong. Looks like she can only handle easy cases.
- ★★★★★Unprofessional and Incompetent

Susan was hired to handle a employment matter. Reaching her proved to be an arduous task. She was notorious for missing meetings and arriving late to the ones that she did attend. Susan is incredibly inept and unresponsive.
- ★★★★★Inept and Unresponsive

She is very inept and unresponsive. Ghosted me for months and when she replied, it was to tell me she was too busy. Told me that she would help. She promised to get back to me on a certain date and never called or anything. Her own secretary didn't even reach out. Essentially, she told me that in her x amount of years of practice that the laws don't protect you. They only help on paper, but in practice its essentially worthless. Consult someone different, she's not a good lawyer.

Sue Huhta did an outstanding job, from start to finish. She worked tirelessly on my case, and demonstrated extraordinary knowledge of the arcane details of labor law as it relates to university promotion and tenure cases. She was such an upbeat, pleasant person to deal with, and so honest and realist ic. I felt like she was really in my corner!

Beyond what I expected!! Steve walked me through a few detailed steps - form my new software company, certify as a Woman-Owned Small Business, and gain access to set-aside federal contracts, which I never knew existed. Highly recommend his counsel.

- ★★★★★Best attorney to have in your corner
S. Kim · real estate ·
I suspect many are like me and when you're looking for an attorney (not related to routine business/personal matters), it's about one of the worst times in your life. There is so much uncertainty, anxiety and you want the BEST attorney to represent you. Someone that is going aggressively and steadfa stly look out for your interests at every juncture, provide sage guidance and prod you when you need it and almost needless to say, be absolutely competent in their field. Eric Siegel delivered all that in spades. He worked tirelessly to move the case along to a final resolution (settlement). His attention to detail, his follow through, his confidant drive to win is exemplary. My case involved a construction contract dispute that was just about to bankrupt me. Our family has worked with business attorneys in the past and while they were fine, I wanted someone of a different caliber. I spent an ungodly amount of time doing online research. I suspect many of us may find our attorneys this way when we're in dire straights. I hope my efforts will save you some time. My advice is close your browser, contact Mr. Siegel's office, you won't find anyone better. Lastly, I was almost not going to contact him, because AVVO states only 5% of his practice is dedicated to construction. However his reviews were so good I made the outreach and good thing that I did. That 5% means nothing - he is so knowledgeable about the construction industry, contract law, homeowner's right, etc. It's as if 100% of his practice is dedicated to this arena. Hiring Mr. Siegel was one of the best decisions I could have made in this case and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone that requires an attorney.
- ★★★★★A Lawyer who works hard for you

This was my first time ever having to hire a lawyer. I was being discriminated against for my pregnancy and my company would not provide proper accommodations. A good friend referred me to Eric, and I couldn't have been happier. Eric was straightforward and to the point about what he could do for me. He took the time to discuss all the ends and outs and worked tirelessly to make sure everything was precise and clear to the point where I can say he helped me win my case. I appreciate his service and dedication to his clients. He treats you like family and I would also recommend him to anyone who need his services. I personally want to say thank you Eric for all your help and hard work, dedication and detailed skills and experience you gave to see my case through.

Eric and his team through the use of his legal acumen and the use of Ai and other technology achieve for me a result that was fair and balanced. He listened intently to my needs and concerns throughout the legal process and structured a settlement which allowed me to avoid lengthy and expensive litig ation. He also structured the settlement in such a way as to ensure no future litigation and appeals could take place. I am beyond happy and grateful to Eric Siegel and his team of crack lawyers. He worked long hours and tirelessly to achieve a successful settlement. He was available 24/7 as he advertises and has intimate knowledge of the legal system and how to achieve the best result fairly and quickly. He took over the case midstream which is even more difficult and was able to grasp the legal implications and minute detials of the case within days of taking over. He came highly recommended by my company’s counsel and I could not be happier for this recommendation. He is everything and more as a barrister. He get small details and leaves no issue unturned or to chance for the other side to contest. I was particularly impressed when he was able to settle the case when all winds would indicate that it could not be settled and litigation in court was the only option. He took over one failed settlement discussion and achieved a fair and balanced settlement within days. As a client I am proud to say he is the finest attorney I have ever had the pleasure of working with and would happily recommend him to any person in need of legal representation from the most assertive and hardworking attorney in the metropolitan Washington area or any area for that matter.

One of the most honest and caring attorneys I have dealt with. I randomly choose Eric after so much disappointment from a previous attorney. He was able to somewhat turn my employment situation around. While the final outcome was not what I anticipated, my final settlement was able to at lease recove r attorney fees. If you are in search of a knowledgeable attorney who not only cares about your legal issues, but takes time to ask and care about your personal life, I highly recommend Mr. Eric siegel.
