  • ★★★★★Inspires confidence

    anonymous · employment law ·

I contacted Sue through the recommendations had read online. We set up a time for me to talk t her about the issues I was experiencing at work that were of great concern to me. That first call reassured me that Sue was exactly the right attorney to guide me through the issues I was concerned and w orried about, Over a period of about a year, I was able to call her and discuss various issues and she was great at talking me off "the ledge" . She provided pragmatic advice that allowed me to view my work issues in a way that empowered me. On top of all of this, Sue has a great sense of humor that helped to diffuse my anxiety. I would recommend Sue without any reservations.

  • ★★★★Greedy Lawyer

    anonymous · litigation ·

I consulted with Susan, sent her a couple of pages prior to our consult (billed hourly). She overcharged, billing over 2hr when we only spoke for 30min and she was 10min late. She then offered me a contract with 1/2 her hourly rate taking 1/3 of my settlement. For a lawyer who didn't think my case was strong, she didn't mind taking my money. I consulted with other lawyers, and she was the only one who said my case was not strong. Looks like she can only handle easy cases.

  • ★★★★Unprofessional and Incompetent

    anonymous · employment law ·

Susan was hired to handle a employment matter. Reaching her proved to be an arduous task. She was notorious for missing meetings and arriving late to the ones that she did attend. Susan is incredibly inept and unresponsive.

  • ★★★★Inept and Unresponsive

    anonymous ·

She is very inept and unresponsive. Ghosted me for months and when she replied, it was to tell me she was too busy. Told me that she would help. She promised to get back to me on a certain date and never called or anything. Her own secretary didn't even reach out. Essentially, she told me that in her x amount of years of practice that the laws don't protect you. They only help on paper, but in practice its essentially worthless. Consult someone different, she's not a good lawyer.

  • ★★★★★Excellent, knowledgeable, and hardworking

    Jennifer · employment law ·

Sue Huhta did an outstanding job, from start to finish. She worked tirelessly on my case, and demonstrated extraordinary knowledge of the arcane details of labor law as it relates to university promotion and tenure cases. She was such an upbeat, pleasant person to deal with, and so honest and realist ic. I felt like she was really in my corner!
