I’ve been meaning to write this review for years because my overall experience with ADH Law was so impactful/meaningful to me- I was a client of Les Alderman’s for years, in which I sought his counsel for a high-profile, heavily media-covered lawsuit that I filed against a public figure. Having never dreamed of ever filing a lawsuit in my lifetime - and having zero knowledge/wherewithal as to what to expect - Les was a godsend. He was with me every step of the way throughout a years-long legal battle turned media frenzy, always ready and available/accessible when I had questions, needed guidance, and honestly when I just needed overall support through what was an extremely traumatic and probably the most difficult experience of my life. Legally, we ultimately reached the ideal result/resolution that I wanted, and that was all due to Les and his exceptional legal expertise + know-how. Even today, I remain grateful for not only his expert legal counsel, but his humanity and good heart/moral compass. He gave me the courage to stand up against the discrimination/harassment I faced in the workplace and supported me every step of the way - and I’m a better, stronger person today because of it. Mr. Vernia represented me in three cases against two billion dollar companies, single-handedly winning all three of them, securing a substantial monetary compensation. In the first case Mr. Vernia filed a successful qui tam (whistleblower) suit against a major aerospace company which was overcharging government clients. The DoJ thanked us for our efforts and rewarded us with a substantial relator share compensation, together with attorney fees. In the second, retaliation case, Mr. Vernia obtained a substantial monetary settlement from the company. In the third case, Mr. Vernia tirelessly defended me, my family, and my small business against a large company who filed a meritless strike suit in their attempt to take my business down as its only competitor. Mr. Vernia filed dozens of motions and fought to the end against the company and its 21-person team consisting of fourteen lawyers. As a result of Mr. Vernia’s effort and his knowledge of the Defense Trade Secret Act, we won the entire case on summary judgment, while exposing the company’s lies and fabrications.

He literally saved the case. I found myself in a bind: headed to a notorious Circuit Court and the senior attorney I had hired had pawned my case off to a junior associate who had botched it all. In fact, we were weeks from submitting the brief and they were totally unprepared. I was given the na me of Ben Vernia from successful attorneys in that circuit and called. Most folks aren’t interested in federal whistleblowers who did the right thing but aren’t likely to yield lots and lots of cash, but Mr. Vernia cared more about saving my dignity and preserving my case. Mr. Vernia got right to work on my case and impressed me in several important ways. He was transparent about his fees. He estimated hours in advance so I could plan approximate costs. This kept my anxiety and budget within control. Mr. Vernia was calm and compassionate. He listened to me. He was respectful. He helped me understand the process we would be engaging in so I could know what to expect. Mr. Vernia was skilled. He developed careful arguments and delivered them expertly. I was so impressed. I would happily employ him as an attorney in the future. He is a wonderful person and professional.
