I first saw Amy during one of her immigration talks for the World Bank Staff. I contacted Ms. Amy Novick for the removal of conditions (with a waiver) on my permanent residence (I-751 with a waiver). My immediate impression was that Ms Novick is not only extremely competent, professional, and kind but that she genuinely cares about her clients. Prior to reaching out to Ms Novi ck I had consultations with few other immigration attorneys and I would walk out of their office feeling like “just another client”. I was never convinced that they actually listened to me and that they would actually give the attention that my case needed. With Ms Novick my consultation was completely different from that. She listened and provided immediate feedback from which one could see that she not only has a deep level of expertise in these matters but is able to convey the knowledge to her client. In addition to the consultation, I contacted Ms Novick few times over the phone prior to formally hiring her and my experience was always excellent. She would always listen, be kind, professional and would know what needed to be done next. Ms. Novick prepared my case with tremendous attention to detail which made me feel very confident that everything will go well. However, given that cases take longer these days, every once in a while, I would email Ms Novick inquiring about my case. Even though I now live in New York, I had no hesitation on relying on Amy Novick's vast expertise in handling my application for permanent residency (green card). This firm is very busy, and didn't have time for me. There was very poor attention to detail as a result, and the green card application that the firm filed was filled with inconsistencies that led to denial. The firm was hired for its expertise, and we relied on their advice and experience, but th e poor attention to detail led to a very poor result. I wish we had not hired them.
