My wife and I own a sports agency. We were introduced to Zach through a close personal friend. He really impressed us with his knowledge of law. We hired him as our general counsel for the agency. Little did we know that we would have to use his services within a month of us hiring him. We had an a ge/ identity dispute with a prospective client in the Dominican Republic. I tried to resolve the issue by myself but kept getting the runaround from the main MLB office. I let Zach know that I wasn't getting anywhere with the issue and let him take over. Within 48 hours he had the issue resolved and we were able to have the player eligible to sign with any big league team. In another instance we had an issue with a marketing company and one of our clients. I had Zach and his father Leon take care of the situation with their expertise in that type of law. They had a very aggressive approach while protecting the agency and myself. At the end of this particular situation I was very pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend the Margules Law Firm.

I hired Zach Margules several years ago to help with contracts and later a vendor dispute. Despite paying him over $10,000, he never provided itemized billing or a clear explanation of his charges, and he failed to follow through on legal actions he told me he would pursue. At the time, he told me “n ot to worry about a small remaining balance.” He claimed to be my friend and made me believe he was giving me a break since he fell short in defending me. Years later, he began demanding $1,700+ with no explanation and immediately threatened to “take me to court.” I received only one contract for over $10k. Since then, I have been subjected to repeated, harassing text messages from him. These often arrive on holidays or weekends and come in long chains of five to ten back-to-back texts, sometimes several paragraphs long, followed by strings of exclamation points or question marks if I don’t respond immediately. When I failed to reply within 48 hours (because I was at a funeral), he threatened court action instead of communicating professionally by phone or email, even though I repeatedly asked him to do so. I have made clear that I am paying monthly toward the balance as much as possible, yet the harassment continues. He also followed me on social media in a way that felt almost obsessive, and I ultimately had to block him on all outlets. His conduct has been aggressive, unprofessional, and at times made me feel unsafe. In my experience, Zach Margules failed to deliver on promised legal services, provided no billing transparency, and chose harassment over professionalism. I cannot recommend his services.
