  • ★★★★★Excellent!!!

    Kevin · litigation ·

I can honestly say that the last 6 months have been the most stressful of my life. In a time when I needed guidance and support Lisa went above and beyond to help get me thought the terrible court process and always made me feel like I came first. Her knowledge and professionalism was impressive to say the least. I replaced my first lawyer, who never returned my calls and never fully explained the court process that was ahead of me, with Lisa. It was the best decision I made and I cannot recommend her enough.

  • ★★★★★Visitation rights with our grandson

To be perfectly honest, I was hesitant when I was told by Jerry Wisselman, that Lisa was going to handle our case, because the reason we went there was that I had a connection with an associate at that firm who knew a co-worker and old friend of mine. We had a terrible experience with our previous a ttorney. He was not proactive and was too laid back. We were fighting for visitation rights with our grandson, which his mother would not allow and his father, our son had passed away over a year previous to our battle. The baby's mother kept us from seeing him for 1 1/2 years. Lisa then took over our case and things began to happen. She filed all of the proper papers and traveled close to 50 miles every time we had a court appearance. She was always professional and knowledgeable about our case and the legalities involved in it. After several weeks we were awarded 4 hour visitations once a week with a social worker. She communicated and worked closely with the social worker and after about 4 visits with the social worker, Lisa requested unsupervised visits and we were granted that. We continue to visit with our grandson every week for 8 hours and are ready to request sleepovers or a second day of visitation every week. My wife and I are so very sad to lose Lisa as our attorney. She was always attentive and responsive either by phone or email. She even gave us her personal cell phone which we used on several occasions. She also asked us to keep in touch with her about our case. She really cared and it just wasn't a job for her. I wish we didn't have to lose her but we wish her the best of luck in whatever endeavors she encounters. We just hope that her associate, who happens to be my coworker's friend, is as competent and thorough as Lisa was. And yes we would highly recommend Lisa to anyone who needed an excellent family attorney.

  • ★★★★★Would definitely hire her again!

From the first time I met with Lisa for a consultation to the day my case was finally settled, I felt like she did an exceptional job. She is feisty and I felt at ease that she was truly fighting for what I wanted and asked for. I was very comfortable with her and that was important because court w as stressful and nerve racking for me. She was always prompt at responding to my phone calls and emails and even communicated with me on a Saturday morning. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs a strong lawyer that is also personable and well versed in family law.

  • ★★★★★I highly recommend Lisa

    Tom · family law ·

I spent the better part of a year resolving my divorce and then a child custody dispute. During that time, Lisa demonstrated that she is a smart, thorough, compassionate and most importantly an ethical lawyer. She also made herself available any time I needed her. She was very thorough in reviewin g motions, court orders and preparing for court. She clearly understands the law as it pertains to matrimonial and child custody cases. Lisa always maintained a professional attitude when faced with intimidating posturing from opposing counsel, yet she also made it clear we would not back down from our position. Her thorough understanding of the law and professionalism gained the respect of opposing counsel and was a major contributor in being able to settle my case in a fair and equitable manner. My hope is that I will never have to be in family court again, but if it does have to come to that, there is no doubt that Lisa Gardner will be representing me.

  • ★★★★Horrible and Unprofessional Lawyer

    anonymous · family law ·

I hired Lisa for a simple divorce case, custody and child support. Lisa failed to file a court of Contempt against my ex to receive child support, he failed to pay for over an year and she did nothing. She allowed my ex to harass me for over an year after asking her several times to file a violati on petition. The retainer however went very fast with no advance on my divorce case. Several times I called her with no replies on my emails or phone calls.
