Justin Shapiro is an exceptional lawyer. I fell on the steps of the Hotel I was staying at while vacationing in Key West. I had a pretty significant injury to my knee which surgery to repair. Justin went above and beyond for me. I live in New Jersey and due to other medical issues which popped up al ong the way made it hard for me to travel. After my wife suffered a serious accident in a motel (broken leg), I reached out to an attorney I trust who lives out of town. He spent some time looking around for an attorney in Miami who could help us. He eventually put us in touch with Justin, whom he knew only by reputation, and assured us we wo uld be in good hands. That was our lucky day. Justin was business-like, straightforward, and very clear about the prospects for our case. We immediately felt comfortable with him and confident that he would do a good job. He never over-sold the possible results and outcomes, but he assure us that we had a solid case. He gathered a lot of information from us and moved very quickly. I was impressed, in fact, with how fast he moved to arrange depositions, question witnesses, get experts to make the required inspections, and so forth. He amassed a considerable file. It took only 11 months from the date of incident to get to the point where we could hold the required mediation hearing, where the other party made an offer (which we accepted) that was considerably higher than anything we had anticipated. At no point did my wife (a retired attorney) or I have reason to doubt that we had been well served, and then some. Litigation of this sort is not a pleasant experience, by any means. But Justin made this as smooth and stress-free as he could, and he did a great job overall. I'm sure he does the same for all his clients.
