  • ★★★★★Highly recommend

    Karen · litigation ·

I just had a consultation to get an idea of what my case would be like, if I had one and I were to move forward with my decision. She explained everything to me with a lot of detail and explained what the worse case scenario would be, what to expect in court and what I needed to move forward with the case. I’m very thankful I decided to consult with her before I took matters into my own hands. If in a near future I were to go forward And push forward with my case I would highly recommend her.

  • ★★★★Terrible experience

    Maya · litigation ·

My case was assigned to one of the associates. After paying my retainer I have been submitting documents that were necessary to take action. I was not able to get answers to simplest questions and after a couple weeks she stopped responding altogether. Nothing of substance was ever filed in my case a nd with hearing dates and deadlines approaching I decided to switch firms. My $$$ retainer was used for inconsequential office procedures, none that would move my case forward or help me in any way. I am sorry I wasted my time and money on an experience that in the end really hurt my case.

  • ★★★★Horrible experience!

If I could leave ZERO stars I would! I went to this lady because I was told she's amazing and a closer, over $15,000 in less than 4 months my case was worse than it began, and I literally had an open and shut case (ex had a DV incident with BF in front of kids). This lady would also refuse to go to c ourt if if the escrow account didn't meet her desires. She laughed at my case in my face, she has no respect, charged me for work she never completed, and also charged me for meeting with the ad litem at a mutual friends party. Needless to say I left this lady after she agreed to things in court I was completely against and she refused to seek child support on my behalf even though I had full custody (which she gave up). Ms. Vasquez isn't worth a quarter of what she charges, I left her and got everything I was supposed to have in the best interest of my kids. Don't waste your time or money!!!!

  • ★★★★★Competent, knowledgeable, professional attorney

If I could give attorney Vanessa Vasquez de Lara a rating of 10 stars, I definitely would. She represented me in a lengthy modification of parenting agreement process and it’s because of her tenacity, knowledge and professionalism that I was granted sole parental responsibility of my child among oth er victories. We dealt with a hostile opposing party and still, Vanessa never flinched. Vanessa’s staff is also great, always professional and very helpful. I can’t thank them enough and if you want a competent, knowledgeable attorney who will fight for you, hire Vanessa Vasquez de Lara and her firm to represent you!
