I was indicted in 2020 of being a leader with a conspiracy and a money laundering charge with 9 other defendants. Being a first time offender not knowing anything about hiring the correct attorney, I came across a money hungry attorney that was just looking to take as much money as he could from me, that at my bond hearing he compared my case with dogs playing poker. I was denied bond and was told by the judge I wasn’t getting out until the end of my incarceration. With that being said I had to change attorneys. After my family interviewed a couple attorneys Damon stood out the most. After hiring him his main concern was to get me out on bond, and after a couple of months he successfully got me out on bond and got to work right away. He told me I was looking at 30 years and with his hard work and dedication he fought hard till the end and was able to get me a better outcome than I expected. Due to all the evidence the government had on me and other defendants cooperating against me, he was able to obtain a 10 year sentence which was my mandatory minimum and there was no way around it . Damon Cheronis was straight forward never sugar coating anything as honest as they come and I must say he’s a well respected attorney in the federal courts. WORTH EVERY DOLLAR!

From day one mr Cheronis said that he wanted to get me FREE. NOT a new trial. NOT a plea offer. And unlike the average attorney mr. Cheronis did exactly what he said his intentions were. I reached out to Attorney Damon Cheronis in June of 2021 when my son's initial attorney was adamant that he would be convicted of a Class X Felony and was looking at 6-30 years. I worked with Damon years ago when he was still a green horn working under Ralph Meczyk. I was falsely accused of a sex crime...he worked with my family and got me bailed out maybe 3 hours after my surprise arrest. I have to say that was the scariest thing I've ever gone through and Damon always mad e me feel assured that it would work out in my favor, which it did. He's whip-smart and has an obvious affinity for the law. He's also a very likeable guy, doesn't come off arrogant etc.

I hired Mr Cheronis for a serious and complicated international tax evasion case and I cannot imagine that any other attorney would have been able to solve my case better than the way he did.
