I was involved in a potential multi-million dollar real estate development deal in southern California with the investment group located in Chicago. Partners tried to squeeze me out of the deal and wanted me to cede control of the LLC that controlled the deal. I hired Glenn Udell to represent me. I wanted him to stop the other investors and their attorneys from screwing me. Once Glenn was involved it all changed. They new him and his firm by reputation and that he knew what he was doing, and thus they knew they were in trouble. Once Glenn was involved, and let them know what he was prepared to do, on my behalf against them, they pretty much just backed down. Glenn knew right away what do do and how to counter their moves, what liability it exposed them to, and that we would aggressively pursue all our rights and causes of actions and defenses. It all just went away real quick! Everything resolved in nothing flat.
