This law firm helped me expunge a criminal record that was preventing me from getting hired. I was told by a different law firm that my record could not be expunged. After hearing this, I was about to give up on getting my record cleared. However, I luckily got a second opinion, and the law firm o f John Ioakimidis put the time and effort in to find the truth, which is that my record could be expunged, and I did not have to pay until they verified this. On top of this, they charged me way less than the original law firm would have. Since I live out of state, I needed someone to help me expunge my records, and this law firm definitely helped. Simply John literally stood by me as my daughter testified against me for attempting to hold my dog. I stood there and watched my precious daughter rip me and John made sure I did not lose even more dignity by collapsing. He even approached my other daughter to help stop the insane alienation inflict ed by ex-wife. I was found not guilty on a directed verdict. I do not have my daughters but still have my career. I was charged with Forgery, a Class 3 Felony. I thought I was doomed. It was my first time hiring a defense attorney for 2 cases I had. One for a pending suspension on my driving liscense for driving without car Insurance & second one for retail theft. Karen provided services for obtaining a guardianship for my dad after he had a stroke. She got all the paperwork together quickly and had everything for the temporary guardianship in place within a week. She answered all my questions and made sure I understood my responsibilities as a guardian. When my dad healed enough to take back decision-making responsibilities, she had everything prepared for the court to dismiss the guardianship. She provided all necessary paperwork both to me and the court. The only issue I ever had was with the court Zoom info; however, Cook County is a bit of a mess so I'd recommend getting verification from someone within the court system since things appear to change so much. Overall, she was responsive and on time with everything and she made what was a very difficult time for me go smoothly.
