My experience with Mr. Pollock was a very pleasant one. My review will have three sections: -one from the initial meeting and getting to know the group, -two with the interview process, -and three with the result of my asylum. 1. Mr. Pollock was very empathetic from the first meeting and he answered all of my questions and concerns. In the beginning I had met with a legal assistant and we spent a lot of time going over my story and explaining the situation of the country from which I come, in order to craft my story in a written format to be added to the case. Only to realize that a while later my case was assigned to another legal assistant, and the old one with whom I met previously did not write anything from the three hour meeting we had. Discussing everything that went bad in my life that got me to become a refugee was extremely triggering for my PTSD, and I would have appreciated their help more if the legal assistant had taken that into consideration. However, the new legal assistant was amazing. Her name is Araceli, and our meeting went very smoothly and professionally. She helped me write my story and was always very responsive to all of my questions and needs regarding the asylum process. 2. In the interview, Mr. Pollock accompanied me. I appreciated him being there with me because I was nervous. He was there every step of the way, and his closing statement was an eloquent summary of the reasons behind me seeking political asylum in the United States. 3. Thanks to the support of Scott and Araceli, my asylum application was approved, and now I get to build a new life in a safe country. I am very thankful and appreciative.

It’s been a while since my case got done but I’ve wanted to leave this review ever since. I had a case that was a little different and because of that and because of my very traumatic experiences that led to me coming to this country I was always very nervous and scared that it wouldn’t go the way I needed it to. Mr. Pollock and his legal assistant Sue Gerber were always there to ease my mind and answer all my questions and concerns. Mr Pollock was there in person for all my interviews and made sure that everything went well and that I was being treated the way I should be treated. He’s a real expert in his field and If I could rate him and his team higher than 5 stars I would. 5 stars is just not enough for the amazing experience I had. On top of that I always got the feeling that both Scott Pollock and Sue Gerber really cared about the outcome for me and my two children and that really helped me feel a little safer during the process of getting my green card. They were also very accommodating when it came to working out a payment plan that worked for me. My final words are that Mr. Pollock, Sue Gerber and the rest of the team are amazing. They really know what they are doing and are also very compassionate people that really care about their clients. I never felt like I was just another client that paid them to help me, I always felt like they really cared about myself and my children and what would happen to us. I would never recommend any other lawyer in Chicago when it comes to immigration, Scott Pollock is a superstar. Thank you Scott Pollock and Sue Gerber for working so hard to ensure the safety and well being of myself and my kids. Thanks to you we can now call America our home and I’ll forever be thankful. I highly recommend Scott Pollock and his team. I received a denial letter for the first time and was anxious about it. Scott and Anastasia eased my mind about the whole I-290B process. They provided outstanding client service, handled my case professionally, and educated me on my particular situation . Thanks to Scott's 35+ years of experience in immigration law, I received approval for the motion that Scott and his team filed, and my permanent residence was approved. Thank you so much for everything!

When we were searching for an immigration lawyer for adjustment of my status, a lawyer in another field highly recommended Scott stating that Scott D Pollock & Associates is the best in the field of immigration. After our first meeting with Scott we were completely confident we were in good hands. Throughout the process Scott and his legal assistant (Linda Markasovic) have been extremely professional and knowledgeable. Both were always quick to respond to our emails. Ms. Linda was wonderful, she paid close attention to all the details. Communication with Scott has always been clear, with precise answers for any concerns we may have had. As a result, I got my green card. We are so grateful for what Scott and his staff have done for us and we highly recommend Scott D Pollock & Associates for anyone who needs an immigration lawyer.
