My daughter got into some legal troubles with her older half-sister. There were serious allegations, emergency protection orders, and a bunch of police that were all hostile. I called and messaged several lawyers. None of which got back to me until several days later. The ones that I initially tal ked to all had the same tune; give us a retainer fee...and we'll help your daughter. No questions as to the background or history of the case, just pay the money up front and "we'll take care of the rest" I wasn't convinced...nor impressed. Then I sent a message to Sami after finding him on Avvo. Literally 2 minutes later, he called on his cell. And it was a completely different dynamic. He actually asked questions regarding the details of the case; never insisting he could "help" us. He did something entirely different...he LISTENED. It was only after a true dialogue that he determined that he could be of service. Heck, we didn't even discuss retainer fees until the 3rd phone call. This guy cares. He's not just looking for a quick buck. And he certainly isn't the lawyer that (literally or figuratively) just "goes through the motions" for clients. If you're looking for someone who is Educated, Reliable, Committed, and Compassionate then Sami Azhari is your guy!!
