You messed up but relief is nearby. You want an expert who will also listen to you, explain the situation and your options and put you in the best situation for a positive outcome. Martin is your guy. After you hire him when you are going through waves of freaking out you can come to Avvo and re-r ead the 100+ positive comments (I've read them all for comfort 8 times by now) and know you've done all you can to help your situation. I put myself in a tough situation. I went out for a few drinks, nothing egregious but when I was leaving a parking lot I goosed it around a corner and squeeled my tires. I was pulled over and declined to talk the the officers about where I was that evening or participate in any sobriety tests. Martin got us a Not Guilty on DUI and Reckless driving, and a modest fine and court supervision for squealing tires. We worked together to craft a defense and no point anything that I thought important was left unconsidered. Even though my case hit a complication and dragged on a bit his flat rate fees were clear fair. Quite honestly they were about 75% of what I expected and was willing to pay for a proven winner. He's super busy but will always make time for you. Most importantly, he's a genuinely good guy. There's a reason for Martin's top rating. Do yourself a favor and pick the best. I was in an accident 1/26/19, no witnesses or other people involved. I refused medical treatment (despite my concussion), and the breathalyzer (I wasn’t drunk, but had few beers couple hours before driving). To my surprise they charged me with a first time DUI; which means a license suspension of 1 y ear, and driving under the influence charge/failure to slow down ticket. For me, these charges felt like a dark black cloud hovering over me, as I constantly had to go to court. I understand as well as you, the reader, that you need good consult to get through these dark times. I sought out Martin based off: the reviews, his straightforwardness and experience. Martin had a pretty high success rate with DUI cases. I consulted with 3 other lawyers, but Martin was the only one who told me I had a 50/50 chance of winning. Him telling me that showed he wasn’t trying to make a quick buck but rather thinking on how to win my case. He told it as it is, because understanding the full scope of the consequences is vital in not making more mistakes. Martin has had experience as a prosecutor, which means he knows how “the other side” thinks in the courtroom. Honestly, this factor alone is enough to hire any lawyer. His experience really showed in how he presented evidence, and went about the case. Martin found a technical mistake in the ticket to suspend my license, because of this and his smooth talking (judge was 50/50 but Martin said something before she made a decision) I won my license back. Martin then said to lengthen the court trial so the judge and cop forget the facts of the case in general. When going to trial, Martin told me to waive the jury trial so that the judge can focus solely on evidence provided. The only evidence the cop had was I was in an accident, my breathe smelled and eyes were glossy. I provided Martin with pictures of the car damage and written statement of what actually happened in the accident. Martin used this to completely destroyed the cop in the cross examination. Martin made the cop look like he didn’t do his job (which the cop honestly didn’t) or know anything about the true nature of the accident and my concussion. We beat the DUI charge as well. Every case is different, and needs a special solution. Martin is smart, straightforward, and has the experience to find the unique solution you need.

I found Martin online on a Sunday night, 2 days before the court date. He contacted me within 2 hours of my VM, on a Sunday night to walk through the process with me. He and his wife were very transparent with me and told me all the steps in the process and what I can expect from the court. He accomp anied me and my dad to court, he was familiar with the judge and was very efficient with our time, and got the Case dismissed without any issues. Since this was our first time, I had lots of questions about the process and what to expect, he and his wife were so pleasant and always answered my questions immediately, and always thorough with follow ups.
