Attorney Russell Cate out of Carmel Indiana was truly a blessing for me. After countless attempts from many other attorneys who should have amateur stamp next to their names could not get done what I needed. Attorney Russell Cate got done. Other amateur attorneys told me that I could never gain my fu ll rights back. Attorney Russell Cate high level of intelligence of the law have stamp by his name is Pro. This man is Supreme when it comes to a lawyer for hiring. I used three lawyers that failed my request and about 10 or more just simply told me to live with my conviction. Its nothing or any other lawyer can do to change the type of conviction you have. To make a long story short attorney Russell Cate got my felony reduced to a misdemeanor then expunged it. He refused to allow me to participate in my defense and did not communicate with me on what was happening. He failed to present me with a plea agreement that was offered to me by the prosecutor and failed to turnover my discovery to the State. In regards to challenging an alleged chemical test refusa l, I was told by Singh it would "not likely to be successful" and was told by Cate “substantially unlikely this will occur” and “I think it is more likely than not you will not be successful”. After I was forced to represent myself when they withdrew their representation since I pointed out they were being unresponsive and ineffective, I was, in fact, able to get the alleged refusal terminated. This proves that their legal advice was flawed, their relationship with the prosecutor is not good, and that I was more successful on my own than I was with very expensive legal counsel. I would not recommend them for your legal defense.

Charged me $ 300 to write a letter to Indiana Attorney General telling me that I was the victim of an illegal contract and the Attorney General would take it very serious and investigate the contractor that had sued me in court. The Attorney General immediately told me that because it had already be en a court matter, they would not pursue it. Seems Cate should have known this.
