I have had to work with a lot of lawyers in the past for various things and Arlene Kline stands out to me as the best lawyer I have ever worked with. I don't say this lightly. She has taken her time after hours, not paralegal time to prepare documents herself at a very reasonable and fair rate, she i s honest. Something very difficult to find now a days. She knows the inner workings of the court extremely well and can get things done efficiently and entirely. I have nothing but great things to say about Arlene and her representation. I am so happy to have found her and would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for an honest, hardworking attorney.

Arlene Kline is an exceptional estate attorney! She is representing my sister and I in the probate process of my father’s estate. I found her on Thumbtack. And she called me on a Sunday!!! How many attorneys do you know that do that?! Not many attorneys ever!!! My sister and I have never been thru a probate process, so naturally we have lots of questions. We’ve sent Arlene lots of emails, and she has ALWAYS responded sometimes even after her work hours. She has also always kept us up to date on the communication she’s had with the PR’s attorney. And she’s done so in a timely manner too. Arlene is also a very well prepared attorney. At the first meeting we had with Arlene, she provided us with an estate checklist. On this checklist, there were important dates and deadlines that have to be met by the Personal Representative. The Personal Representative of my father’s estate is my other sister. This checklist also explained how closing the estate would work. I found this checklist to be very informative and helpful. She also provided us with all the documents that have been filed with the court to date…something that the PR’s attorney should have done but did not. Arlene is also a very professional attorney. She has always conducted herself in a professional manner when dealing with my sister and I via email and in person. The documents, letters, consents, etc that she has prepared are done in a very professional manner as well. She has also dealt with the PR’s attorney in a very professional manner when communicating with him. She’s professional yet personable too. Very hard to find in an attorney. She’s very sympathetic and empathetic to your personal situation. She’s open and honest and a good listener too. Finally, Arlene’s hourly rate is very, very reasonable. I consulted with multiple other attorneys and their rates were at least $300/hr or more! Her retainer fee is also very, very reasonable. It can’t be beat. The other attorneys I consulted with had retainer fees of $3000 or more! Hers only $500! She also gives you options as far as when you pay your bill. You can either pay your bill as she bills you. Or you can pay it after a partial distribution has been paid to you. Now that’s an unbelievable payment schedule! All the other attorneys I consulted with wanted thousands of dollars up front. Then when that money was gone you had to immediately replenish it. There was no willingness to wait until you got paid from the estate. So obviously Arlene is NOT about the almighty dollar. Something you rarely see when it comes to attorneys fees! So if you want to hire a reasonably priced, professional attorney that’s not just going to take your money and run, then you need to hire Arlene Kline. You definitely won’t be disappointed!!!

Rachel represented me in my sons paternity case. She was a such a blessing during tan extremely confusing, hard and sad time. I was postpartum, stressing out and had a million and one questions. Rachel made time and answered each one of my questions honestly and professionally, even when it wasn’t wh at I wanted to hear; she was extremely consistent, helpful and informative. We hired Rachel after losing 2 family members to covid19. Her demeanor is condescending and her continuous snide remarks added additional stress to a very emotional situation. While I provided all documents then was charged for her to review. And may I add, charges are steep with this firm. We hav e been blessed with a more compassionate attorney who does not charge for every second. We do not recommend Hocker Law Firm unless you have money to waste and like constant confrontational conversation.

At the start it seemed Rachel would be a great fit for us. However it became apparent that her workload was such that giving us the individual attention we truly needed was simply not possible. While Rachel no doubt understands the law, her situation is not one that allows "the extra mile" Our exp erience with her was not a good one and we can not recommend Rachel in any way. Find an attorney who has the time and the interest to handle your case well.

I contacted Clarissa with general questions about how to proceed with a divorce just before COVID-19 quarantined us all in early 2020. She made herself available to answer all of my questions, which resulted in me retaining her services to proceed with a divorce. Through the entire process, Claris sa was always quick to respond to any questions I had. I hired Clarissa for a custody/relocation case where the father objected to the child’s relocation and opted for full custody! As scary as the idea of being sued for custody is, Clarissa was a bright light at the end of the tunnel. She was patient, knowledgeable and attentive! Always prompt and thoro ugh with her responses; She eased my mind throughout the process and even talked me out of giving up the fight when I thought I could no longer handle the stress of it all! Mr.Van Winkle was a good listener without verbal nor non verbal judgements. He advised and gave other helps in prevention and or helps to clear debt as my health was beginng to show much wear and my goal was to get out of debt. I did a service without any faults before nor after and paid over one half off before the step I did finally take. This was uncomfortable for me but he made it as simple as could be. When calling and or meeting with him he gave multiple options to help me select other potential remedies. He also, informed me of Indiana law,court procedings, what to expect prior to and after the proceding. He alerted these and followed through with informations requested by debtors. He spoke of the affects on credit default and clearing. He used proper launguage both verbally and legally. He returned my phone calls seeking clarification and just to discuss-listen to my complaints of shame/guilt that I felt. He praised my sucess in my repayment history. He was very informative, nonjudmental, he taught/educated me and totored how to proceed. While waiting the length of scheduling months he kept me informed of his stepts. This was helpful to know what was going on on his end while waiting ( in the dark on my side) so to speak. He was not short with me when I asked questions that I am sure hes heard many ,many times . That is what he is getting paid for ? No I think it is more than getting paid for as he extented himself enough that I know it was client care. He as many legal representives, alike deal with people, good, bad, poor, victims, discord, and those the system sometimes fail, and keeps a realistic attitude. Servant to the people, yes. Was he called to this stressful life work that seldom leaves his mind, I would say yes. I believe there is growth for anyone living and he, and this organization will learn from one another.
