Lorie devised a very effective strategy for my personal appearance with the nursing board as I was facing possible probation on my license due to a criminal matter. You never expect to be in a situation with the nursing board. I was scared, anxious, angry, humiliated. Lori calmed my fears and didn’t make me feel like a horrible person. She didn’t make promises but offered sound advice and empathy. Lori was upfront, honest, reasonable and kind. She was available when I needed her at all hours…even if to just ease my anxiety and talk to me. Lori is a nurse and is understanding of what nurses do. She never made me feel less of a nurse for being reported. I felt comfortable talking to her and confiding in her as she was never judgmental. I truly believe she had my best interest at heart. I couldn’t have made it through the process without her.
