Elaine was a referral from a friend. I'd never been in court before and, I was so upset and afraid when I received my summons in the mail. Elaine was prompt and reassuring. She worked meticulously to find out as much information as she could that pertained to my case. She consulted with my child's te acher, his therapist, and others to make sure that what was in the best interest of my child would be the outcome in this case. Myself and the other parent had a horrible relationship when this all started . We were required through the courts to complete a course and Elaine wanted feedback. She asked me questions, in hopes that I'd learned something that could be applied to my specific family situation. I won in court, myself and the other parent have a much better relationship now, and most importantly my child is happy. I had no hope in the beginning of this case and by the end of it all my family was free from all of the strife and disappointment from past years. She made my calls a priority. Her follow up was stellar. I liked her in the beginning until she scammed me out of thousands of dollars by quitting a MONTH before the final hearing and never returning any of my calls. She quit literally RIGHT AFTER I PAID HER. She lied and said that she switched to a new law firm and could no longer represent me but I see t hat she still works for the same law firm. She never refunded me and is now ignoring my calls and emails. And to make matters worse she passes me off to a even more incompetent inexperienced lawyer that also NEVER answers the phone just like her. She’s very rude and UNHELPFUL when I asked her simple questions regarding my case. I didn’t feel like she was on my side the entire time, she was saying no to every request I would make and made me feel like a child and tell me that ‘that is just impossible to do’ like who’s wide are you on? If you’re my lawyer you should want to fight for me why do I feel like I have to pull teeth to get you to do things pertaining to my case? I wish I never chose her as my lawyer and did my research, now I am out of thousands of dollars and my final hearing date pushed back even further I am so unsatisfied and I regret ever choosing her. DO NOT waste your time and money she is the worst!!! Once this case is over I will be suing you for malpractice you owe me money!!! You can’t ignore my calls forever.

Unfortunately I found myself charged with misdemeanors whilst on business in Indianapolis. Much to my horror, the arresting officer and the state tried to escalate my minor charges to a felony! We've had two adoptions through Kirsh & Kirsh and loved every bit of our experience working with them. All the staff are extremely personable and prompt at answering any concerns, even post adoption questions we have had. We even had a fall through situation initially and this experience is what has made me love Kirsh & Kirsh the most. In the end we got to be there for the mom post birth while she tried to make a very difficult decision. We felt like Steve did a wonderful job supporting both us and the birth mom even though this particular instance didn't end in us parenting the child.
