I was involved in a labor dispute when my former employer resisted paying the severance due me after ten years of service. It was a bizarre case as the company does not operate with any degree of transparency. Ed Shoulkin is truly thorough; reviewing a mountain of Emails and documentation without mis sing a point; he noticed minor details I never imagined would be significant but, looking back, I think they were central. Ed is responsive, always getting back to me quickly. He grasped the nuances of the difficult personalities we were dealing with, and steered us through tight corners when things hung in the balance (like the moments when I wondered if we should just give up). Ed never did. Not only did he steer the case toward a quick and favorable outcome, it was better than we hoped (I was paid the entire amount of the severance). The matter was resolved in less than 3 months, and we avoided litigation. His intellect, professionalism, and commitment are first rate. I’d had no prior experience with legal matters, and was intimidated by the whole undertaking. But working with Ed actually made it seem easy.

Any situation where you require strong representation is generally undesired. I had the pleasure of meeting David through an old co-worker when I needed some serious help. I had been in two accidents in 10 months and suffered significant injuries that landed me in the hospital on the second one. I could not be more thankful for finding Attorney David White at Breakstone, White & Gluck, PC. In November, 2008 I was injured in a Bonfire Accident due to a person's negligent acts. I sustained 2nd, 3rd and 4th degree burns to my hands, neck and face. The emotional and physical trauma that I underw ent was unimaginable. So you can imagine my horror when my health insurance company did not want to cover the cost of most of my procedures (due to dispute of medical necessity vs cosmetic procedures), and the Insurance company for the Home that I was injured at did not think they were liable for the cost of my injury either. From my first phone conversation with David (who insisted I call him David), I was sold that he was the right lawyer for my husband and I.
