A lot of business reviews you see online are from those that had a bad experience. So when I started to do my research into a worker's comp lawyer, I noticed a lot of lawyers with negative reviews, or lawyers with no reviews, positive or negative, at all. So imagine my surprise , that I ca me across reviews for Bruce that were all positive. (Now, for disclosure, Bruce's name was presented to me months prior, when I still didn't "need" a lawyer. But I still did my homework . . . ) Fast forward, and there I am suddenly "needing" a lawyer because the insurance company had stopped paying me. So I contacted Bruce and he promptly got me in to see him about my case. After talking with him and asking all my questions, I hired him and I'm glad I did. First, Bruce got the insurance company to restore my weekly payments back. Then Bruce and his (awesome) staff became my liaison with the insurance company that had stopped responding to my inquiries. Fast forward again, three operations and four years later and Bruce and his staff are still there giving me updates and answering all my questions. They always had me up to date. Finally, a couple of months later, my case was settled in my favor. Bruce's staff was amazing, always getting back to me within 24hrs (mostly within a couple of hours!). Always professional and pleasant. Bruce, as a lawyer, is a pro with a commanding understanding of how the "system" works and he's not an outsider to the Boston Industrial Court (he knew everyone). Bruce is personable and I genuinely liked him. He was very informative and even calming at times. And he never brushed off any of my phone calls when he was available. If you get hurt on the job and find yourself suddenly "needing" a comp lawyer, look no further. Bruce stood by me and fought for my rights and the proper settlement that ultimately came my way. You can't try and do the "system" on your own, you have to get a lawyer. A lawyer that knows their way around the courts and the system and I'm thankful I chose Bruce. After consulting with Mr Lipsey he filled my claim for disability. For the most part everything was done "behind the scenes". I was contacted a couple of time by Social Security and when I was I contacted the office and they guided me through the paperwork. About 9 months later I received a call tell ing me that my case was won. For me it was really just that easy.
