I received a letter from Pat Schaefer, he knew I was having financial difficulties and offered his assistance. This was a marketing letter looking for business and I was a bit wary. I thought about it and called his office two days later and made an appointment to meet with Pat. I met with him six d ays after receiving the letter and simply followed his simple instructions to help me file Bankruptcy Chapter 7 the next week. His office made things very easy and treated me like their client and always responded to my emails and questions. His prices were very fair, I did not know at the time, but since then have done my research and found his prices to be fair and well worth every penny! I had been struggling with my financial circumstances since my husband's death 12/2005. I was caught up in the credit card cycle of using one to pay the other. Then I became disabled due to a work accident. A year without wages, my home in active foreclosure and creditors galore drove me to seek help . Mr. Schaefer's law firm was recommended by a prior client. Riddled with embarrassment and fear of losing everything, I made the appointment. His staff was courteous, understanding, knowledgeable and expeditious. I was kept informed of everything via phone calls and emails. The day of the Bankruptcy hearing, I was so tense and still felt humiliated. Mr. Schaefer showed his humanity when he reassured me as I broke down in tears. I couldn't have been in better hands. My only regret is I didn't file for bankruptcy sooner with Mr. Schaefer.
