I consider myself extremely fortunate to have worked with Mr. Petrillo when recently I was facing multiple felony charges. About a year and a half ago I ran into some legal trouble and needed legal representation. My wife's cousin is a corporate lawyer and she referred us to William Petrillo. Having never been on the wrong side of the law, I didnt know what to expect. I also didn't know if this would affect my employment status. I had a laundry list of concerns and questions. After my first consultation with Bill, he immediately struck me as personable, professional, confident and honest. He told me what all of my options were and also gave me his personal opinion. My best interest was always his primary concern. He always reiterated that no matter what legal avenue i chose to go down, he was in my corner 100%. I felt extremely confident that i had chosen the right guy. And i definitely did. From the first court appearance right up to my last, Bill and his associate, Karen Bobley always put their best foot forward. They never wanted to settle for anything less than what I had hoped for. At the end of my court proceedings I did get the outcome i was looking for and my friends and co-workers could not believe that it was possible, under the circumstances. I owe it all to Bill and his team. Whenever I needed legal documentation e-mailed or faxed, for work or other purposes, Jennifer, Bill's office manager, was always on top of things. Jennifer would call me the day before any court appearances, as a reminder, and also give me the heads up on what would happen at that appearance. Whenever I had questions, Jennifer usually had an answer and if she didn't, Bill would , personnally, call me back by the end of the day. Words do not truly describe the high level of service that I received. Bill and company made a very stressful situation very manageable and i am forever grateful. Not only is Bill a great lawyer. He is a wonderful human being. And that is what separates him from the rest. So, if you ever find yourself in a legal bind, don't take chances or cut corners. William Petrillo is just an amazing blend of magnificent attorney and wonderful human being. When I stepped foot into his office the warmth and genuine concern shined immediately. His knowledge and ability astounded me. I knew within 5 minutes of speaking with him that this was the man I would entrus t my future too. Today the outcome of my case is proof positive I made the right choice. After this experience I am left thinking there are attorney’s you could hire to protect you and there are those that you enlist to be your guardian angel. Bill falls squarely and unequivocally into the second category. Anytime I needed reassurance he was there. His staff was there. They were always there insulating me from the fears of possible incarceration and the complete ruination of my career. You truly know a person has your best interest in mind from the bottom of their heart when they stand to make more money the longer your situation drags out and they dedicate themselves wholly and tirelessly to expediting the process as much as humanly possible. That’s Bill Petrillo. I cannot recommend this man enough. 5 stars just doesn’t give his ability the justice it deserves. If my life were at stake in a criminal matter ever again I would trust NO ONE besides Bill. No one at all!

In early 2012, I was wrongfully accused of arson via circumstantial evidence. The lead detective was determined to have me suffer for someone else's crime and I felt powerless. Mr. Petrillo saved me from my Kafkaesque nightmare through his strength of character, confidence of law and learned talent i n the court room. From day one, he was upfront about my situation, preparing me for all possible scenarios. My concerns were his, both in and out of the courtroom. When this all began, I was depressed the justice system failed me and I was downtrodden by what appeared to be absolute powers tailoring the facts to my demise. By the end of trial, Mr. Petrillo lead us to a triumphant acquittal; In the process, restoring my faith in the justice system. I'm convinced had I not been in Mr. Petrillo's professional hands, I would not have prevailed and fallen through the fingers of a lesser lawyer. I am forever grateful. Mr. Petrillo is a miracle worker. When faced with a situation that other lawyers told me was all but impossible to be resolved in a tolerable manner, Mr. Petrillo did the impossible. Throughout the whole process he was knowledgable, honest, available, and incredibly professional. Having first gon e to other highly recommended lawyers I was able to get a sense of the different types of attorneys that are out there. Not only was the outcome something that the other attorneys couldn't dream of, but Mr. Petrillo's personality and general manner was miles beyond the others. In an incredibly trying time he was calming. But while he was pleasant to deal with personally, he also is incredibly fierce in the courtroom. Well, let me start off by saying Mr Prestia is the best Lawyer I could have asked for, was recommended to him through a family member. As soon as I walked in for the consultation I knew he would be the perfect lawyer to take on my case. He knew and said from the beginning that it would be hard to pro ve my innocence knowing what they had against me but even with that information he told me he would fight till the end and that is exactly what he did. He did it all quickly too never had a single problem when going into the courtrooms and speaking with the DA he sorted everything out for me all I had to do was tell the DA what happened that day of the incident. We met with the DA once and that first time it didn't go so smoothly they were not going to give me a plea bargain, he told me to not worry and that he would speak with them to try to get me another meeting with them and he did that exactly, ended up speaking with them and ultimately we settled with a plea bargain. no criminal record only a violation. No lawyer I know would have tried to fight this that much and get me another meeting with the DA for a second time what was most likely going to happen was going to trial but Mr Prestia was set on not taking this to trial since it could go 50/50 in favor or not in favor of me. Thankfully in the end it all worked out and the charges were dropped after taking the plea bargain. No criminal record is what he wanted to achieve for me and that's exactly what we got. I really do recommend this lawyer to anyone who is in need of one, Mr Prestia is really understanding. If I ever need a lawyer in the future I'm definitely coming to him first.

Finding an attorney to fight for you the way you deserve to be fought for is not an easy feat. That was my first experience before meeting with Mr. Prestia, as a young black latino from the projects looking to get justice from the NYPD. I had the privilege of having John LoTurco represent me during one of the most difficult times of my life. I was arrested in June of 2023, facing 14 felony charges and a domestic violence case.
