More Chaos Than Clarity I regret hiring James Sexton for my divorce. His own website describes him as “the sociopath you want on your side,” and I should have taken that as a warning. In my experience, his style was aggressive to the point of being overwhelming, and it felt like he thrived more on stirring conflict than on finding resolution. At $750+ an hour, I expected clarity and strategy. Instead, I often felt drained — emotionally and financially. His approach may work for people who want a fight at all costs, but if you’re looking for compassion, calm guidance, or someone who will de-escalate a difficult situation, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

He took my $75 K and did not show up for my child custody trial and quit a day before second trial when I asked him to represent me. . He is liar and fraud.. Stay away from him. He is the reason I lost custody of my 6-year-old daughter. He is money-hungry but does not work. He is a liar and very g ood at it. This attorney should have his license revoked permanently to ensure he never traumatizes another young child or innocent mothers again. After taking my $75,000 and doing zero work, he filed a motion with 26 negative points to damage my image in the judge's eyes. He should face legal consequences for his actions.
