David Lund took my husband's case when no one would touch it. My husband is young (late '30s when he filed) and has a rare brain disease. When I say no one would touch it, I mean no one literally. He was transitioning into his own firm, and if it were me, I would not have taken my husband's case due to its rareness, and especially his age. David Lund refused to back down. He fought with a judge that has the highest denial rate in our country not just S.C. He was steadfast, very intuitive, and knowledgeable. I was thankful when the lawyer helped me with my case. I still fell atonite to the way Amanda if not mistaken her name spoke to me over the phone . I had several ischemic chronic strokes. Now I have a brain injury, I suffer from dementia, ptsd and cognitive decline. Amanda was upset because I was asking her questions and of course interrupting her asking the questions. I can’t help it because of my brain disability. Amanda was more than rude : She increased her voice volume and told me: STOP INTERRUPTING ME, even that I reminded by saying please be advised I have a brain disability please be patient with me and she careless. I will not recommend this Lawfirm while she still working at this firm. I will file a complaint against her with the department of disability Amanda is an arrogant and ignorant person. You shouldn’t be working in a place where you needs to handle people with brain injuries after strokes or any type of disability because you are not professional. You have no idea about my pain and suffering dealing with chronic brain damages and dementia. I pray you would never have to deal with something like this.

For 6 Years my husband has suffered from severe constant vertigo. Getting people to understand what that means has been an uphill battle... he doesn't suffer from dizzy spells, but deals with these symptoms every second of every day. They did absolutely nothing to help with my disability claim. I was told it could take around 6 months to complete, but I filed with them in September and wasn’t contacted by anyone until December to tell me nothing had even been started. They wasted 3 months of me having zero income. I have to start over from square one with the 6 months plus process. Complete waste of time contacted and meeting with this firm.

Called their Charlotte office regarding a Chapter 7 and 13 to schedule a consult over the phone. The intake guy asked me about sensitive info regarding marital status, current debt load, and things that should be discussed in the consult...then he refused to set an appointment over the phone and hung up on me when I had an issue with the process. Said "Here is what I can do for you sir... click" Front desk is clearly not the lawyer, but this is not how you handle a client looking to discuss life damaging matters such as a bankruptcy.

This was the hardest decision of my life, when you go thru it, you feel there is no future and you feel like a loser. When I spoke to Damon Duncan & his staff, they made me feel comfortable and walked me thru the whole process of filing, going to the court review, etc. I knew I was in the right pla ce and hired him without hesitation.
