I hired this attorney to do three QDRO's to divide penguin retirement accounts after my divorce. We ended up paying for four because he did all the work for one, but my account was moved to another broker. It was disappointing to have to pay full price for something that was completely useless. He di dn't offer to discount the fees and had us pay full price for him to redo it from scratch. Recently I've been looking at my retirement details, and I've realized that he did not calculate things fairly or correctly. My maximum benefit from one of the pension plans is $700 per month. The retirement was supposed to be split down the middle. Somehow I am obligated to pay my ex $424 per month. So 60%! I should've contacted my own attorney to review Mr. Conrad's work apparently. If you choose to hire him, I suggest you do the same. There were also ways to more fairly structure the QDRO's and retirement division in the event that one of us dies earlier but again, that was a failure. I was stressed and lacked knowledge and trusted this attorney. Don't make my mistake. It appears that he errored on the side of my ex-husband. Is it incompetence or sexism?

I'm 29 years old, born and living in the U.K. I don't know whether it was my own fault due to forgetting to pay, or if there was an issue with the payment going through, but I have ended up missing the deadline for a British Gas payment of £280. Upon finding out I'd missed this repayment after receiv ing a letter in the post (no reminders since the initial bill was issued), I paid it immediately, but it was too late. I checked my credit score on Experian, and it had dropped a massive 157 points(l) due to this one single missed payment. To add some context, my credit score has been 999 (the max) since I was 18 years old. It has never once dipped as I am always on top of all my payments. I have paid my bills on time every single month for the last 10 years and am shocked that this one single miss has caused such a drastic drop! Usually I wouldn't be as bothered, but I was in the process of applying for my first mortgage! I became terrified that this is going to affect my application. We used Them in a car wreck case. They did us good on that case. But we used them on my disability case and got nothing from them. Mr Hail ne ee contacted me,never spoke to me nothing. No communication what so ever. They fail to tell me they don't do the federal level of disability. So he took the case all the way to where we would have to fight the federal courts and sent me a letter saying he didn't do the federal level of it and was going to refer me to another attorney. Never heard from this other attorney. Then I get a letter from Dan Davis office saying he wasn't going to represent me anymore and the other attorney that never contacted me wasn't going go represent me either. So they left me high and dry with only a certain amount of time to do the appeal without an attorney. So thanks to them I have to start completely over and file again.
