Ian helped me at a time where I had no where to turn. I had lost my job in 2008, and scraped along with various jobs. Eventually I used up all my savings, borrowed from 401k, and was over my head in bills. He was referred by another attorney, so I felt confident. He was on top of everything so I didn't have to stress about the details. And long after my case was over, he has answered various questions and provided documents in a very timely manner. Rarely do I take the time to write a review but my experience with Mr Eblen was so positive I feel it necessary to share. I reached out to Mr Eblen regarding difficulties I was having enforcing several $ judgements and how to go about collecting from my ex husband. Mr Eblen was extremely helpful and extremely efficient. I never felt over charged by his fees or that I had to closely monitor his fees. I felt he was trustworthy and always had my best interest in mind. He successfully negotiated with my ex husband on payout amount and due dates. Ted and his office did an excellent job representing us in a bankruptcy and foreclosure process. He and his staff or extraordinarily knowledgeable about both processes. He is low key and easy to talk to. They have vast experience over 20 years and he was clear and thorough in explaining to us how t he process worked, what we should expect, and about how long it would take. I consulted Mr. Troutman about a creditor freezing money in my bank account, with no previous knowledge of debt. After I filed with the courts that the money was exempt, the money was still fully taken out of my account leaving me in complete confusion. I had no idea how a debt I was unaware of wa s able to freeze all but $200 in my account and then take money that legally cannot be taken.... Mr. Troutman let me know my next step of action and what generally happens in these situations is the court has the money put back into the account when it is exempt money.... Just being given the knowledge of the process in the few moments I spoke with Mr. Troutman was a great help and his time us greatly appreciated. Even though I only needed a few minute consultation and didn't need to hire him... If I need help in his arena again he will be the first attorney I contact and recommend to others.
