I have been involved in a very challenging case with very significant mental health problems of the other parent that, unfortunately, continue to impact the life of a child. I was initially referred to Mr. Newsom from a friend and was a bit hesitant at first with all of the attorneys I met with. Up on meeting Mr. Newsom and discussing our case, I quickly found that he was there for the right reasons and was vastly skilled in areas that I needed the most support in. He is able to keep a level head in very challenging situations which, in turn, allows him to see the big picture to not only focus on immediate needs but also the 'long game'. He is incredibly skilled in drafting responses and documents as well as seeing areas that you, the client, may need to improve and will direct you to appropriate coaching or resources that will benefit your family and, most importantly, your child. He is 'soft' when it's needed yet will stand strong when the time dictates and always keeps the child's interest as the ultimate goal, which was so important to me. He is skilled in the overall strategy, timing of communications, mediation, litigation, and guiding other professionals that may be involved in your case. He brings a well rounded skillset during periods of less conflict in your case and shines when it is most needed in small ways that you may not see in the moment but set the course for the upcoming years. He is deft, articulate, and level headed. I can't more strongly support Mr. Newsom in his skills that are needed to navigate, support, or litigate very challenging situations.

Attorney Lauren M. Barnhart (Lauren), is an exceptional lawyer on many levels. I did an in-depth search to find an estate lawyer that I was comfortable with to put together a Will. I was overjoyed after an initial meeting (consultation) with Lauren for I knew my search was successful in finding La uren and that decision was totally confirmed over and over through-out the subsequent Will generating process. Lauren listened/understood my needs, in an objective and understandable manner she described various estate planning options to consider and always with a no-pressure final decision left to me. Lauren drafted a Will that addressed all my requests but also covered all the concerns I never would have thought of to ease my family's facilitation in executing the Will. She answered all my questions through-out the Will drafting process, I never felt rushed or pressured, I had ample opportunity to question and edit drafts, and she was timely in all elements of the process. Every conversation and meeting with Lauren was comfortable and easy-going. I believe her "one fee Will cost" explained to me at time of consultation was very reasonable. Through-out the Will generating process it was obvious to me that Lauren was very knowledgeable, competent, and experienced in estate law. Most importantly I know my family will feel comfortable and in good hands with Lauren and the Will she wrote.

I would give her 10 stars if I could! You need an attorney to help in ur case and call out liars, she’s the one for you. My daughter is in a WAY better place now that she is with me. I will definitely use her again if anything is needed. I’m so proud that I had her though my case and she answered all the questions I had and never once lied to me. I’m proud I had her on my side to get my daughter back and stick up to a man that was an abuser to me and her. She is the one for you if you need someone to show the right way.
