So let Me start off by saying Richard was very very active when it came to hiring him and his firm for my case. My first time ever being in trouble and the case was not an easy case but Richard definitely made me feel very comfortable and confident. From the first day I called him until the last day he was there for me. I’m at very pleased with the outcome of my case and if I’m being honest I was facing 9 years in state prison and the outcome was probation. I called Mark Cogan’s firm to represent my young adult son to defend against allegations made against him at a summer camp by another camper. Richard McBreen, Mr. Cogan’s associate, handled the matter and reached an excellent result for my son. After several months, the district attorney decided no t to pursue the charges against him. As a young person starting out in life, such charges would have had a terrible impact on my son’s education and career, besides the emotional trauma of being wrongly accused. I recommend Mr. McBreen and the Cogan law office to anyone who has the unfortunate experience of having criminal allegations made against them. Mr. McBreen was amazing resource for my 15 y/o son in defending him against an alleged sexual assault charge made by his ex-girlfriend. He immediately started working on digging up the facts and working on gathering the electronic forensic evidence need to prove his innocence. He was very clear wi th us about what not to discuss nor ask questions, it was a very scary time for us as parents but we trusted Richard and followed his instructions to the letter. It then end, my son was cleared of all charges. I also applaud Richard in his communication (mostly texts after a few initial phone calls) and I could tell my son really appreciated he could reach out at any time with questions. I cannot recommend Richard enough, he is an outstanding attorney.
