From my experience, Ms. Elaine Witty seems to be fully devoted to hers clients and the profession. When she counseled me, I could feel her passion in trying to show me the way that would benefit me and me only. She looked at me as a whole person and openly and honestly let me know what she thought w ould be the best road for me to take judging from her experience and knowledge and independently whether she would be making a profit on the best solution or not. That meant a lot to me, as she went beyond my inquiry and steered me towards the topics that I would not know to ask on my own. I am happy to know that an exemplary lawyer like her exists and that she was put into my life. I could also say that most of the lawyers I've previously dealt with cannot not measure even close to Ms. Witty.

I contacted Ms. Witty by email and by phone after seeing her stellar reviews online. My case involved an adjustment of status and wasn't overly complicated, but it did have a few issues that needed to be looked at, so I wanted someone who seemed to really care. Unfortunately, that is not the impress ion I got from this lawyer. With a little over 3 weeks before my immigration date, I first contacted Ms. Witty through multiple messages on her website. When those went ignored, I called her office directly. First, I was told by her secretary/assistant that she was out of town, so she would return my call when got back. After the date of her return passed, I called again, and I was told she would be giving me a call soon. I patiently waited, but no call or email ever was returned to me. I ended up having to hire another attorney at the last minute, causing significant stress and losing precious time that could have made things significantly more complicated. If this attorney didn't want to take up my case, all she had to do was say no. Instead, her office misled me and made me wait for a call that never arrived and almost caused significant damage to my case. No a great show of professionalism by Ms. Witty.

Elaine is great, I truly recommend her. As a student, I have no experience dealing with lawyers, so I checked this website and found Elaine. I was very lucky to come across her. I left a message and she called me the next day, and spend 30+ minutes with me on the phone giving me advice about immi gration and visas. Elaine knows what she is talking about, she is nice, patient, will explain to you in detail everything you want to know, and she will consider all options for any action you are thinking of taking.

I spoke to Elaine first by phone. I was a little scared to look for a lawyer outside of my area. When I am dealing with something as serious as an immigration issue, I always like to be face to face with a lawyer. I live in Nashville. She explained everything to me in ways I understood. She gave me e very single detail that no other lawyer has ever told me. She took her time (1 hr). I am willing to travel and meet her. She is wonderful.
