I rarely leave reviews, but this experience deserves one—especially for anyone considering using this service for legal help. I was looking for a simple, cost-effective way to complete a possession order as part of a divorce packet. I understood that legal services cost money, but I specifically c hose an “unbundled” option to avoid unnecessary expense for what I believed was a straightforward document. From the beginning, communication felt promising. After reaching out on February 9, 2026, I quickly heard back and scheduled a call. During my conversation with Michael on February 12, I explained that the situation involved a somewhat complex custody arrangement due to differing work schedules. I was reassured that this would not be a problem, which gave me confidence to proceed. That confidence didn’t last. After payment was requested and sent (following a delay), communication became inconsistent and slow. I repeatedly had to follow up just to get basic updates. What should have been a relatively simple process stretched across weeks with little progress and minimal proactive communication. When documents finally came through, they required corrections—including formatting issues that, frankly, should not occur in a professional legal setting. Even after addressing those, progress stalled again. I continued to send follow-ups, often waiting a week or more for brief, vague responses. At one point, I was told the request was “complicated” and would take time to make enforceable. Then, within the same day, I was told the request was not possible—and was given a rewritten document to use as an exhibit, along with instructions to essentially rely on a publicly available template (the same one I had already found myself). In the end, I paid $1,500 and received something I could have obtained for free, with little to no meaningful legal value added. To make matters worse, I later received an invoice showing only $225 worth of work had been performed, implying a refund. When I asked about it, I received no response. Weeks later, I was told to “ignore” the invoice entirely due to internal growth and staffing changes. That explanation is not acceptable. The most frustrating part of this entire experience wasn’t just the cost—it was the lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through. I consistently felt like I had to chase them for updates, only to receive minimal responses or be ignored altogether. As someone who made it clear this was my first experience working with a lawyer, this did not build trust. It reinforced the exact concerns I had going in. This was an expensive mistake, and I would strongly encourage others to think carefully before using this service.

I came to Michael with a complicated case involving a history of extensive parental alienation. The outcome of the case has yet to be determined, but Michael has already proven that he's extremely knowledgeable in dealing with these types of situations. He's not cheap, but if you're looking for best at dealing with high-conflict divorce or parental alienation, look no further.

I hired Michael to represent me in my divorce case. A trusted friend referred me to him. I had been married for over 18 years and the financial assets were substantial and complex with property, retirement and savings accounts to be considered. I rate Michael “excellent” not just because I was satis fied with the outcome of my case but also because of the experience working him him. He was adept at negotiation and highly experienced in handling the complexity of my case. He was also timely in his communications. I believe another reason why I was pleased with my experience is because there were a few moments where I felt highly vulnerable and Michael was understanding and patient with me. There were times I did not understand the terms of our agreement and perhaps his approach. I challenged him at times and he was open to talk it through. In summary I think highly of Michael not just as an attorney but as a person. I’ve known many attorneys personally and professionally and like doctors and mechanics the goods ones are hard to find.
