- ★★★★★Amazing Attorney and Friend
anonymous · litigation ·
I wish I had the words to accurately describe Megan as an attorney, but I really don't think they exist. Megan is amazing. She's smart, articulate, soft when she needs to be and tough when the situation requires it. She is very knowledgeable of the law and communicates with you like she's your fri end, not a client. She explains things in normal people terms and actively tries to find solutions to issues without engaging in whatever drama might exist. She treats opposing counsel respectfully and professionally, even when they do not return the favor, and I always felt amazing having her by my side. I knew that whether or not we won, we did the right thing and presented relevant information and didn't do anything underhanded or deceitful. It's very refreshing to have an attorney that isn't just wanting your retainer and then makes an appearance when you have court. Megan is emotionally invested in you as a person, not just your success or failure in the court room. She listens to what you want to get out of the case and works diligently on all of the information to come up with a plan for how best to present it to the court. She has been in and out of court with me for the past several years and I know that I couldn't have gotten through a single one of them without her and her associates.
- ★★★★★Consultation for child support and visitation arrangements
Derek · family law ·
Mrs. Lary been consulting me for the past year or two. She always gave me great advice and steps to getting back in my kids life. I would recommend her to anyone because she genuinely cares and takes the time to listen also she is a great Lawyer.
- ★★★★★Honesty is the key

This lawyer is a superstar. Very compassionate! He handled my case not based on what I paid but on the urgency and need.
- ★★★★★Reliable
daniel · family law ·
John is a great attorney and is reliable. Keeps updates on my custody case and has so always been reliable to get back to me about the case promptly and what to expect next throughout the court processes. Has so far been successful in my custody case.
- ★★★★★Terrible
anonymous · family law ·
Long story short. I Paid him for services ($600) to start off. After a week or so with evidence I still have to this day. He told me he know the lawyer my X obtained. So after a week or two he promised to serve her paperwork at the drop spot. And never did. When I attempted to get my money back. All I got was the run around. I called a few times out of the week to at least get some answers or something with valuable info. Nothing. I even called to get matters resolved... nothing. All I got was the office is flooded and he can't get to you.
- ★★★★★Amazing attorney

Mr. Parkey took a personal interest in helping me understand the legal process and my role. He was knowledgeable and influential. I have recommended Mr. Parkey to many people and will continue to do so.
- ★★★★★Very good at what he does

He's always on time...communicates well...very friendly and knowledgeable. I woupd recommend this lawyer to my family and friends
- ★★★★★Very knowledgeable

Daniel is the attorney to have on your side. He knows the law well. From the beginning to the end you know that this attorney knows what he is doing. Do not try others before you try him.
- ★★★★★My Divorce case
Robert · family law ·
Heather was an excellent attorney. I received regular updates from her regarding my case and never once felt like I was in the dark. Her communication with the opposition was very professional and to the point. I hired another attorney when my divorce proceedings first started, but the case just seem ed to drag on and on. Once Heather took the reins, the tide shifted and the divorce settled in a short time. I firmly believe without Heather handling this case I would still be fighting my ex. If I had a need for her services again I would hire her again in an instant no question about it.
- ★★★★★The Best Representation I Could Have Received
Jane · family law ·
I came to Marlene for a divorce after a bad experience with a previous attorney and it was the best decision I could have ever made. Marlene is simply the best. She is honest and extremely intelligent. She was easy to reach. Her staff was always happy to assist. She answered all of my questions and provided not only sound legal advice but support that I very much needed during a difficult time. In the end she helped me get everything I wanted and I could not have been happier.
- ★★★★★i did not have good results
Debbie · family law ·
I signed a contract with her & it stated that her assistant would do the research work for $75 per hour. I did all i could to simplify the research in my case & cut costs but she would still ask me to bring in more info even though my husband & i were not fighting for anything. I began to realize t hat there was no assistant working on my case because she has none & I was being charged her fee of $300 per hr for things that were unnecessary since i had done the research & gave the paperwork to her as asked. She would say that she could not sort it out but it was labeled & in proper order, there was no dispute, just a divorce. I began to question her & ask for my bill & she made excuses & never sent it to me. I asked several times explaining that her contract states, "monthly statements will be sent". She ended up charging me with more than half the sum of money from my home sales. $22,000. She had me sign a document that looked complete but added that she would receive the amount at the signing of the home sale. It was the worst financial burden on us.
- ★★★★★Strong, knowledgeable....a winner!
Joshua · litigation ·
Marlene is a tough, knowledgeable attorney, that understands what has to be to done to win. Shes detail oriented and very smart, and a formidable adversary in a court room. I would highly recommend Ms. Adams.
- ★★★★★Sleaze is being nice
Gabrielle · litigation ·
I came to her in a bad situation, paid her a retainer and was told she’d email me a contract to sign that afternoon (she never did). She told me she contacted opposing counsel with a response, that was a lie. I have emails directly from the other attorney stating they never heard anything from her. W hen I confirmed her with the emails and asked what was going on she claimed he wouldn’t respond to her and she’s call me in a couple days to come back in. Then she disappeared. Beyond disgusted with her lack of ethics. I’m not sure how she’s still licensed. I used a credit card for half of the retainer and was able to dispute the charge with the proof I sent them.
- ★★★★★Great Mediator!
anonymous · family law ·
Ms. Adams was the only mediator to pick up when I called (and I called plenty!). That was pretty much why I chose to use her at the beginning. She is easy to contact. She's very knowledgeable and helpful on the phone and was able to set an appointment with my husband and I within the week. My husb and is a very difficult, indecisive person. I honestly did not think we would settle when we walked in there. I just thought it would be worth a try, since mediation is less expensive than a lengthy divorce with lawyers fighting on our behalf. Ms. Adams was able to get through to him and separate our assets in what I think was very fair. She is a very professional lawyer and extremely nice. I would recommend her to anyone wanting mediation.
- ★★★★★Divorce with child custody
anonymous · family law ·
Mrs. Alenxander (Bush) was poor at responding to my questions. She was always veiled in her responses and never made me feel confident that my case was being handled properly. She is excellent in the courtroom (the judges love her), but terrible when it comes to fighting for her clients (and their children) to get them the best results. I have had several friends ask for an attorney referral for their divorces and I always tell them NOT to use the one I did.
- ★★★★★Professional
Derek ·
Was very nice and professional. She gave me a free consultation and informed me a lot about my case. The only reason I didn't hire her was because my family had already hired another lawyer without me knowing. I world highly recommend her to anyone.
- ★★★★★JUSTICE HAS BEEN.SERVED !!

Her knowledge of the law is very Highly respected by myself in others of my circle. this whole law firm has help me not only WIN my case but LIVE once again at peace with my life and self. I credit a lot oft joy to this law firm for beating my case showing so much care and c oncern about me. I ENJOYED AND WOULD RECOMMEND theses guys . I totally appreciate these guys for fighting hard for me when no one else did.
- ★★★★★Family Law
Corey · family law ·
We initially spoke over the phone and later in person. I hired her for a custody case. I did not think I would win because I am a single father. It took a while, but I was given custody of my daughter. There were a lot of things that I did not understand during the process. She didn't overwhelm me with everything, but she let me know what may or may not happen each step of the way. Monday, I went home to raise my baby girl. I thank for for her service.
- ★★★★★Divorce
anonymous · litigation ·
I was scared and went to visit several attorneys to see who would be a good match. I felt comfortable with Shantrice and she was very hands on. She gave me her cell to reach her in case of an emergency. I didn't win every issue, but she was up front about where she saw weaknesses in my case from t he initial meeting. I did not always like her direct approach with telling me where I was going wrong, but I appreciated it at the end when I looked back and realized she was trying to help me not just tell me what I wanted to hear.
- ★★★★★Unprofessional
anonymous ·
Very unprofessional and careless. I paid my consultation fee back in February and was only given 10 minutes of her time. I was told she would draw up paperwork and send it to me to continue with my filing. After several phone calls, several messages left for a call back, I have decided to look els ewhere. I never received a call back to inform me of any problems, questions or concerns. I made a phone call and spoke to the receptionist who said she’d remind Mrs. Reed to send the paperwork and never asked for my name or number to return the call. If you are looking for an attorney with professionalism and integrity, this is not the one to hire.
- ★★★★★Great Lawyer
Sergio · family law ·
Marsha is the best attorney you can find! She helped me with a very hard and messy divorce with custody, she fought and won my custody case and divorce, I got everything I was asking for. She will fight for you like no other lawyer would, plus she is always there to answer any questions you have or c oncerns.
- ★★★★★Waste of money
Chris ·
Please save your hard earned money and hire a lawyer that will actually work on your behalf. I basically paid 1200$ for the attorneys assistant to NEVER do her job unless I bothered her about it and she had the nerve to complain to Marsha as if that’s not HER JOB. Not to mention all the attorney did was send a couple of emails on my behalf. Hire a lawyer who will do what you PAY FOR and not just make excuses as to why SIMPLE TASKS are not being done. Needless to say they won’t get a single penny more from me and I hope the attorney realizes she has a VERY INCOMPETENT assistant. Unless it involves demanding payment first. Just warning everyone.
- ★★★★★Marsha Reed

We appreciate Marsha’s willingness in helping with our case. She was honest and fair and I would recommend her if you are needing a family attorney.
- ★★★★★Great attorney!

Marsha provided exceptional service. She took the time to listen carefully and offered valuable advice throughout the process. Her guidance was thorough, ensuring I understood each step. I am extremely satisfied with the results.
- ★★★★★Dedicated Lawyer!
Robert · family law ·
If you are getting a divorce and your ex is a leech and expects you to be her section 8 cash flow, I highly recommend Judi Strotkamp. She is knowledgeable in family law and one of the MOST dedicated lawyers you can find in Texas. To all men living in Texas wanting to be Father's to their children and your ex is trying to prevent that Judi is who you need !
- ★★★★★AWESOME!
Bonnie ·
Ms. Strotkamp is an expert in what she does. She makes herself available to her clients to answer any and every question. Whenever I called, even with the smallest of question, she would quickly respond with the appropriate advice and information. She really was an attorney that was working for me!
- ★★★★★FANTASTIC
Corina · litigation ·
I would more than recommend to my friends and family. Judi was amazing through one of the hardest times in our lives. He knoweledge and commitment to my family was unsurpassed. We could not have gottent though our case without her. She fought for us as if we were part of her very own family. To say t hank you to her will never be enough.
- ★★★★★Review for Dan Kirby
Linda · family law ·
I would absolutely recommend Dan Kirby as a divorce attorney. He helped me when I was faced with an unexpected divorce after 21 years of marriage. When I called Dan it was the beginning of a holiday weekend, and he took care of having the papers filed and processed through the courts before the hol iday. Dan went over and beyond what I expected from an attorney. I received emails from him at 6:00 am in the morning or maybe 9:00 pm at night. If I had a question or a problem he was there to answer it regardless of the time of day. He was very personable and caring. Thank you.
- ★★★★★Great experience
William · family law ·
Dan helped me through my divorce and in my opinion he did an outstanding job. My ex-wife and I were able to settle everything through mediation and not have to go to a hearing. Dan was always available during my divorce for anything I would need. He responded to my emails and text quickly and helped if I ever had an issue. I have already recommended Dan for a friend that went through a divorce and will continue to recommend him for anyone I believe would need a great lawyer. Thanks Dan.
- ★★★★★Dan Kirby Review
anonymous ·
Dan Kirby is skilled, organized, understanding and willing to help you. He works with you and does not talk down to you or belittle you. Simply call his office and he will speak with you directly and he will let you know if he and how he can help you. He returns calls, emails and text message in a n extremely prompt manner. I was extremely thankful to have found him.
- ★★★★★Family Law- Excellent
anonymous · family law ·
Dan helped me navigate through a divorce in 2013 with reliable, prompt attention and wise council. Dan is the type of lawyer, if children are involved, will look out for the family as a whole and ultimately what is in the best interest of the children in the long run not to mention you, his client. Legal issues are generally a highly emotionally charged event in one’s life. What that being said, I have been able to call on Dan Kirby to this day for council regarding family law. He is a calm level head in an emotionally charged environment.
- ★★★★★Attorney Dan Kirby
Kelly · family law ·
I was referred to the Law office of Dan Kirby through a friend. Mr. Kirby came highly recommended. He is prompt in replying to emails. He gave several options as to the best way to handle the divorce. He worked thoroughly and efficiently to make this experience as painless as possible. Mr. Kirby is courteous, professional and a great lawyer to have on your side. I have recommended him to other and will continue to do so.
- ★★★★★Has the experience and will to fight for you.

Mr. Veenstra handled a breach of contract case by my HOA and provided excellent representation and support throughout my case. I used his services for other legal situations and recommend his services for anyone.
- ★★★★★Horrible ! Save yourself time and money! ( Zero Star if i could)
anonymous ·
Susie is very unreliable and not as empathetic and helpful as she would portray herself to be in your initial consult, do not be fooled because you may be caught up in your emotions and believe for a minute she has your best interest. If you are looking for additional stress/headache then this is th e right place for you. Unfortunately i had a not so pleasurable experience using this practice. She kept pushing me off or putting my case on the back burner for over 4 months. I ended up cancelling her as my attorney and lost money and valuable time. Time i could have done more by myself or had i gone somewhere else for sure. Communication is extremely poor. For the entire 4 plus months Susie never communicated anything with me (ZERO). I was the one to reach out. The only thing i've gotten from retaining her was excuses after excuses that it was another departments fault, its the clerks fault, the copiers fault etc. why something was not being done. What's very frustrating is that they will boldly take your money fully well knowing that they have accomplished nothing on your behalf. I know that it is hard to be 100% sure who to retain when your looking for an attorney but from my experience here get other recommendations from other people first. I made the mistake and went by the fact that a 2 reviews gave a 5 star. Do NOT make the mistake i made and save yourself some stress, money and time.
- ★★★★★HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION
anonymous · litigation ·
The communication has be absolutely poor. I would have to continously call to be certain they were staying on top of my case. There is a rapid turn around of the office staff making it difficult to know who to speak to. I began to directly email Susan to get answers but even then she failed to get re sults. I have had a simple case take a year to complete and still have not received final paperwork once the case was finalized 6 months ago! Today I call and hear that it is the Texas Vital Statistics office who is to "blame" because they are behind. If that is the case then why have I not heard a single word from Susan's office in 6 months. I am not the only one either. A friend has also used Susan's office by coincidence and although her case was finalized months ago she has yet to receive any final paperwork which she prepaid Susan for. Not a call or anything!
- ★★★★★Awesome
Gwen · estate planning ·
I hired her firm to handle a guardianship matter. She was so kind and compassionate. She clearly understood the emotional stress and pressure we were under. She told us what we could expect every step of the way even if it was not what we wanted to hear. Her honestly made it much easier to deal w ith the ups and downs of our case.
- ★★★★★Gave me closure
Martin · litigation ·
I had been to 5 other attorneys. She is the one who got the job done and put closure on my case. I would go back to her in a heartbeat and I would recommend her as well.
- ★★★★★Angela B.
Angela · family law ·
She is amazing! I read a review from an adoption client and totally disagree. She told me up front that she cannot always get to the phone so she recommends texts and emails because they come directly to her cell phone. She always responds within 24 hours but usually it is within a few minutes. She also delivers results. She got custody of my kids for me after my ex had kept them from me for 4 years. She accepts most legal insurance and was recommended by my HR. Several people at my office have used her and they love her as well.
- ★★★★★Compassionate and Highly Competent
ADG · family law ·
Amanda Tucker handled my very complex child custody case with tact and compassion. I could not have asked for better counsel during the two years of stress filled litigation. We finally won and I would not hesitate to refer her to my friends and family. Thank you Amanda.
- ★★★★★A brilliant light in a time of darkness
Richard · family law ·
Amanda y Tucker is a Godsend!! She was able to discern truth from vindictive fiction and was a voice of reason to unreasonable and determined adversaries. She shows great proficiency and uncanny ability to advocate on behalf of her client and easily navigated through the insanity and burocratic nons ense that is too common in family courts. She is personable and genuinely is concerned for child welfare and that is a trait far to uncommon among many of her peers. I was at my wits end dealing with a horrible relationship and watching my children being torn away from me due to slanderous and unfounded lies. I was being simultaneously attacked by opposing council, child protective services, controlled access visitation administrators, child advocate services and the court system as a whole. Amanda was immediately able to discern fact from fabrication and tip the scale of justice to proper ground. I am forever grateful for her efforts and I consider her rates cheap even at twice the price. Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to facts before jumping on the bandwagon and condemning my children to a horrible existence absent a loving father
- ★★★★★Compassionate and Competent
Robert · family law ·
I was in a very high conflict custody battle, with my child's mother making horrendous false accusations. Amanda was able to help navigate through her lies, where others were not, and eventually was able to get joint-conservatorship for my children and me (when their mother was seeking to have my par ental rights revoked and them have no access to me). God Bless you Amanda...My children appreciate what you were able to do for us!
- ★★★★★Knowledgable & loyal & very analytical
Fuentes · family law ·
Amanda was my Associate Family Attorney for about three years and without any doubt I can say she is a very Analytical professional, committed and loyal , always pursuing justice, accesible and quick on providing legal advice. Compassionate and a warrior when standing up for her client rights! A lend ing hand prompt to help .
- ★★★★★Professionalism at its best
Tamara · family law ·
Amanda Tucker is the greatest asset I have had regarding my divorce proceedings. She is nothing short of a Godsend and handles herself with dignity, outstanding morals, and the highest level of professionalism. Aside from being able to handle herself against the most fierce of opponents, her demeanor toward her client is refreshing and encouraging. Amanda will advocate on behalf of her client with every fiber of her being. She explains things in simple terms and gives realistic advice on how to proceed. The skill with which she operates gives comfort and reassurance that the best possible outcome will be achieved. Amanda was referred to me by a previous client and came wth the best of praise. I am confident in her ability and would recommend her to anyone who wants the very best lawyer on their side. I can't say enough good about her. Please, if you are in need of a family law attorney, call Amanda Tucker first.

- ★★★★★Fantastic Attorney
anonymous · family law ·
My experience with Natalie was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better attorney. She was able to guide me through the entire process, making sure I was comfortable and always fully informed. She talked to me as a real person, and not just a client. Natalie is extremely responsive, which during this stressful time put me at ease. I would highly recommend her! All you need to do is meet her and you will understand what a family attorney is supposed to be.
- ★★★★★Too naive to know better
anonymous · family law ·
She gave my husband just about everything. There was no negotiation. She let him hold on to my computer and personal files for weeks. One day she told me I was divorced. She never let me know she was going to court. I was devastated. (This is my opinion about my experience with this lawyer.)
- ★★★★★Proceso de Divorcio

- ★★★★★Relentless Advocate in a Tough Custody Battle

I had an outstanding experience with Karleana during a very difficult child custody case. From start to finish, she was professional, responsive, and fully committed to my case. She explained everything clearly, kept me informed, and in negotiations she was an absolute bulldog—relentless, strategic, and always fighting for my best possible outcome and that of my son. Thanks to her expertise and determination, we achieved a successful result. I’m incredibly grateful and would highly recommend her to anyone needing strong, reliable representation.

My case was complicated and difficult. Tom gave excellent advice at every stage and handled the proceedings and hearings in a very experienced and professional manner. Very high integrity and very focused on a successful outcome for the client at all times. Knows his way around the bench very well . My outcome was very favorable and I am a very satisfied client.
- ★★★★★Truly an Outstanding Attorney
Teresa · family law ·
Retaining Tom Conner as the attorney for my difficult divorce and child custody case was the smartest decision I made in my case. He was superior at not only synthesizing and presenting evidence to the Court, but also in carefully listening to me. He is extremely good at communicating, and consiste ntly responded to my emails promptly and thoroughly. He is also very savvy and understood how to deal with my ex-spouse who often lied to the Court.
- ★★★★★Knowledgeable and smart
GEORGE · family law ·
Ramos Law Group handled both my divorced and the custody of my kids. In both cases, I was treated professionally and with respect. Mrs. Ramos will explain everything in detail and make sure the court treats you fairly. Without a doubt, the best decision I made was to hire her to handle my case.
- ★★★★★Poor communication and service quality
Lina · family law ·
My experience with the Ramos firm was very poor. There was not enough guidance on the divorce process and they were not responsive. I decided to fire them after I was requesting for 2 weeks to take action to send interrogatories. They would take days to answer my emails and questions.
- ★★★★★Services with care
Ana ·
Ramos Law Group definitely made me feel more than just a client. Everything was explained to me from consultation and through out the process. They made sure I was never confused about anything. Even in their billing, they show integrity. There was nothing on my bill (which was received every mont h) that I could not cross reference and check myself for accuracy. I will definitely recommend this firm to family and friends.
- ★★★★★Poor communication and service
Lisa · family law ·
I am not one to write reviews, especially negative in a public forum, but I have to agree with a previous reviewer commenting on poor communication and service quality. Even after multiple attempts to address it with more than one staff member, it never improved. While I should have switched firms, I did not and continued to give benefit of the doubt. Ultimately my divorce was finalized with somewhat decent terms, but it was because of my own researching, diligence, and advocating for myself to achieve a relevant judgement. Even after leaving a detailed review with the firm's closing questionnaire and receiving a response that they would follow up, that follow up never happened. I would not recommend this law firm.
- ★★★★★Do your own research
anonymous ·
This firm is not the right fit for me. While researching attorneys in Harris County, I looked into Ramos Law Group and reviewed publicly available information, including court records and online reviews such as Yelp. From what I could find, I didn’t see a large volume of cases locally, and the feedback available online was mixed. That, combined with the fee structure, ultimately led me to decide not to move forward. A $5,500 retainer may be considered standard by some, but that is only the starting point. When billing entries reflect amounts like $215 for 0.20 of an hour, it raises important questions about how quickly costs can add up—especially if multiple people are involved. If a case extends over time, total fees can realistically reach into the tens of thousands, even for something that is not contested. This is not a personal attack—just my experience and my due diligence. I would encourage anyone hiring an attorney to: Review public records Read multiple sources of reviews Ask detailed questions about billing practices I’m simply looking for representation that is efficient, transparent, and mindful of cost.
- ★★★★★Exceptional Legal Representation

Exceptional Legal Representation - Highly Recommend. I cannot express enough gratitude for the outstanding legal representation I received from Attorney .When I found myself facing what seemed like an impossible situation with a particularly challenging case, their firm took on my matter with profess ionalism and unwavering dedication. What impressed me most was their ability to navigate the complexities of my tough case and ultimately achieve a complete dismissal.
