I utilized Ms. Thompson's services for an employment case. She is very knowledgeable regarding law, policy, and practice within City government. Due to her knowledge base on City policy/practice, an email from her to the Department Director completely changed his mind about his intended actions. Ms . Thompson's email request showed him that (A) I was not bluffing about getting an attorney, and (B) She knew more than the director, the appropriate procedure for his action against me. A simple email requesting information scared this director semi-straight. Upon returning to work, Ms. Thompson followed up with me to ensure all was well. I was already drawing my Retirement, but Social Security staff said I may be eligible for Disability do to back and heart problems. I applied, but was turned down. I took my case to Ms. Day, provided my medical records and my written history. I met with her staff twice and met Ms. Day at my Disabilit y Hearing. She was informed, articulate, assertive and a great advocate for my case. I won and received several years back pay. Most importantly, this award raised my social security by $500 each month.

She did nothing, lost paperwork including document needed to retry with another lawyer with no explanation or apology. I have to start all over and it is hard getting documents.

Most reviews on attorneys will be positive if you win and negative if you lose. I would like to make my review as impartial as I can. Mrs. Young was appointed as the amicus in my case to represent my children and I could not be happier with her. She truly seems to care and have concern for the welfar e of the children. While the results of my case have been positive for the children my praise for her is not about that but instead contrasted against my own attorney. Even if my case had gone a different way I would know that she is a darn good lawyer and person. I would absolutley recommend her to anyone. I won't mention my attorney by name but If I had it to do all over again I would have hired her instead.

I was recently under investigation by USMLE for irregular behavior. My world was shattered. Dr. Swate and his team not only meet with me promptly and also cared for my personal matter. He called me often just to check up on me at no charge at all. And most often we just talk about life, his words wer e very comforting during a very difficult time of my life. Another thing about Dr Swate is that he understand how hard it is to be a medical professional, and yes sometimes we screw up, even unintentionally, but he will be there for you at any time and also for the right fee. HE DID NOT CHARGE ME OUT OUTRAGEOUS FEE and even reduce the fee on his own term. Because of his hard work, my trouble with USMLE was reduced to the most minimal. Dr. Swate.
