Dejean was referred to me through another attorney to represent my son in a double felony case after 6 months of working with a court appointed lawyer. The court appointed was a huge disappointment and claimed the "best" he could do for us was 2 years TDC (unacceptable). After retaining Mr. Cleggett' s services we felt very at ease and in good hands. Within 24 hours he had already made a visit to the jail and always kept us informed. He showed a genuine interest in the case; wanting to know all the details of the situation and our son as a person. His previous experience as a Harris County prosecutor is invaluable. In the end, Dejean was able to get the original offer of 2 years TDC by the court appointed attorney reduced to a much more reasonable 3 years probation (acceptable). I highly recommend Mr. Dejean Cleggett to any person who might find themselves in the unfortunate need of expert legal representation.
